no wifi..1 bar on phone..shower luke warm and no heat in shower. $38 nonresident $36 resident of Oregon for power&water. Full service was more. Would not recommend place!!

Report Check-In

Large campground with smaller sites, typical for old Oregon campgrounds. lots of nature around the site and hiking to the beach from camp.

Report Check-In

Great campground, lots of small hikes around. Showers are definitely not hot, cool to warm at best.

Report Check-In

A clean friendly quiet organized State campground. Showers were hot, bathrooms clean. $19.00 per night, lots of walk up tent sites available. I stayed here 3 nights in my Sprinter to recharge before heading to Southern California. I hiked the costal trail and viewed the seals and sea lions at Simpsons reef, tide pools , small beaches, and also visited the bontanic gardens along the hike. Went into Coos bay for dinner and supplies and a haircut at Tommy’s barber. Another post said there was a lot of mercury in the water. I’m guessing they could of been mistaken for higher levels of bacteria in the bay at times. State of Oregon monitors this and will put out alerts on the beaches if so.

Super clean campground nice location , full hookups .. weak Verizon and no ATT

Report Check-In

Beautiful site. Seems very clean and friendly staff. Close to the day-use area at the beach. Verizon at the entrance but not at our site on D Loop

Report Check-In

Nice place. Full but would come back. Close to the ocean. Don’t drink the water, they say there is lots of mercury. I also would not eat any fish caught in this area.

Report Check-In

Great spot to spend the night. Everything was clean and the grounds were quiet.

Report Check-In

As described. Paid 19 for RV without electricity and water. Quite place, lots of Shadow

We overnighted here on September 30, 2018. For an established campground it’s very good, warm showers, clean, quiet. Would stay here again.

Report Check-In

decent campground, walking distance to the beach & near good seal viewing lookout, also saw a grey whale.
$19 for dry site plenty of space for my truck camper

Report Check-In

What a beautiful campground. Beautiful bay and beach just outside the entrance. Firewood was available for sale in the campground. Toilets were a little outdated but clean. I thought the price was good.

Pulled in late afternoon got the last spot. Worked good for last minute, one night. Hot showers.
