Something not right?

Description

This is a very small campground for cars and RVs. Paved lot right by the ocean with toilets (a bit scary), and a picnic site. Maximum stay is 3 nights and fees were $23/night. There appears to be a camp host across the road. Verizon good.

Its an okay campsite. for $30 I wish I kept looking but it was getting dark. the beach is really nice, but road noise and overall openness didn't make it super enjoyable

Report Check-In

$30/night
Stop by for a night on a weekday. Not crowded and a 5 minutes walk to the beach.

small parking lot campground with some sites next to "beach" sand with pits and tables. there is a day use area and people wander over from there. great access to beach. reasonable for seniors at 23$/night 2$ for each dog. clean bathrooms, one spigot for water behind the shed where camphost sells wood. he is across the street. Ranger here first thing in the morning. despite all the families camping it was quiet at night. you can hear traffic from 101. if it's not your style of camping it's a great place to stop and rest. Rest area not too far and that's free.

Report Check-In

If you cannot get a spot in one of the State Parks or you want to be close to Arcata this will work. You have traffic noise from 101 but nice beach access. As others mentioned it is small but has plenty overflow in paved parking lot . The bathroom is just fine and water available at one spicket. Most likely not a place to spend several days but certainly a decent overnight spot.

Report Check-In

Very strong ATT and Verizon LTE.

Great beach access.

Otherwise it's a parking lot you camp on.

$25/night.

Report Check-In

Ok spot. Very open campgrounds, maybe 5 spots. More of a parking lot. Walk to beach is on boardwalks and muddy. But the beach is huge and nice! Probably not going to spend the night here though.

The price is now $25 plus $2 if you have a dog. Sites are right on each other.

Report Check-In

The Beachfront was awesome and miles long, but yes, creepy dudes and dudettes were sleeping in the sand, a couple random travelers came through looking for money or weed, and a few vans pulled in at dark. The Host across the road does sell wood for $6.00 a bag though and the campfire pits are nice. There is a table at each site, and yes, the pit toilets were quite disgusting. The price was right though for "legitimate" camping.

Report Check-In

Parking lot camping with 8 sites on the sand for tents. Think we were the only ones that payed the $15 fee. Filled up with backpackers, hippies, and random creepy vans that pulled in after dark. Disgusting pit toilets, no showers, no wifi.

Price: $15/night
