Wonderful vineyard, named the best winery in Chile 2017. Great place, friendly staff.

After our wine tour we asked for a campsite in the region and if we would buy some wine we could stay at their wine estate. No extra fees.

A great couple of nights here. Quiet. Safe. Security guard. Clean restrooms. Really beautiful grounds, good walking and a peach tree. Good restaurant and of course great wine. Paid $30 each for premium tasting. Bought 6 bottles of wine…average $13 a bottle.

Report Check-In

overnight parking with a motorhome is still possible if you have a tour.
Friendly people. The Cheesecake in the Cafe is the best !!

Report Check-In

Asked in the shop (cycling) and allowed to pitch tent in the parking a little further on. Security guard came round to take details in case anyone mentioned to them they’d know who it is. Easy!

We called ahead and were told that we were more than welcome to spend the night in the parking lot. Though it’s not expected of you, we advice that you take a tour or have lunch in the restaurant to return the favor. We opted for a lunch and had a lovely and delicious experience. The vineyard comprises of charming buildings and vines for miles, and is straight out of a fairytale. Christian, the manager, showed us to the toilets, which are very clean and stay open during the night. Please be aware of the following: the ‘estacionamiento’ in front of the restaurant is solely for customers. Overnighters can pick a spot on the staff parking lot, a little further down the road, at the T-section.

Report Check-In

One of the best winery we visited. Great wine tour by horse carriage through the wineyard. Motorhomes are welcome to spend the night at their staff parking lot. Highly recommended! Lunch at the restaurant was very good as well…… we were lucky to witness the old vine Malbec harvesting!

Report Check-In

Arrived in the evening (21.30) and asked in the restaurant whether we could stay the night as we wanted to book a tour the next day. Super friendly waiters showed us the right car park and toilets which were left open for us. Next day booked our afternoon tour in the morning and asked whether we could stay a second night. No problem at all!
Viu Manent is absolutely beautiful and the views in the morning when it is all quiet were amazing.

Report Check-In

We did a tour here. hiking 1 km through the wineyards and tasting 5 wines for 19000 pesos. We stayed here for 2 night, because the tours where already booked. they kept a toilet open for the night. nice place to stay between the wineyards! you can stay on the parkinglot of the staff for free! No Wifi on the parkin, but very good wifi at the restaurant!

Report Check-In

We did a tour here for 17.000 pesos per person. Got a tour round the vineyard and tasting of 5 different wines. Also stayed on the parking lot for 1 night free of charge. They even kept a toilet open for the night. Friendly people!

Report Check-In

We spent a night there and it is exactly as described before. The place is beautiful and they let you stay for free on the staff parking. We said to the guy at the parking entrance that we wanted to taste and purchase wine but that we’d rather not drive after. He imediatly indicated the staff parking and the place where we could have a drink. We had, more than one in the beautiful garden. Later, when we were back at our van, a very nice gardian came to ask our names and passport numbers. He showed us where we could find the potable water and toilets. The rest of the night was quiet. The staff came back around 6h30/7.am. Perfect spot even if its a gravel parking.

Report Check-In

Perfect spot to spend a night. We did a wine tasting (para compartir/to share) for 14.000 pesos and ask if we could stay with the van. That was ok, stayed at the parking lot of the staff. Quiet, toilets in front of the building where you can taste wine.

Report Check-In

Excellent winery, bar and restaurant. Just ask at the store if you can stay overnight on their parking and they say yes!

Report Check-In

Still as below. All very nice. Wi-Fi not so fast as stated, but could sometimes reach the parkinglot.

Report Check-In

Lovely wine tasting. We camped for free in their gravel parking lot after buying a bottle of wine. Toilets are clean except the water was shut off?

The standard tour is called ”Horseback Carriage Tour“ on their website and include a guided tour through the wineyards as well as a technical tasting of five wines. The tour lasts usually about 1:00 to 1:30 and costs 16.000 CLP per person. The tour can also be booked in English. We really enjoyed our visit, the vineyard is beautiful. In addition, there is also a cozy café and a restaurant.

Afterwards, we asked if there is a place nearby where we could spend the night in our motorhome and they kindly offered us to stay on the large gravel parking area next to the crossing. Some cars passed by until midnight, but overall a rather quiet location.

Viu Manet was named best chilean winery in 2017. We did the tour and tasting, the wines in the shop go from 6000 up to 75000 peso.
They still let people who did the tour stay overnight on the employee parking and it's totally great. Because you would not expect it and it is such a wonderful and upscale place.

We did the last tour on a Friday and then asked in the store if we could spend the night. They agreed and after a bottle of Cabernet at the cafe we stayed at the employee parking.

Report Check-In

Just confirming the previous positive comments. Tour is well worth the price and includes a professional tasting. We were able to visit without reservation and they do the tour also in English. Last tour of the day: 16h30. We asked before the tour about the possibility of staying for the night and they agreed. After the tour they indicated the specific parking lot (gate reopens at 6am, pedestrian door open all night) and (super clean, open all night) toilets nearby. The restaurant is open for lunch only, but the cafe serves light dishes from 9am till 8pm. Super lovely setting and good food/wine.

Report Check-In

Asked if we could stay for the night on their parking lot. Was no problem at all. We had dinner and sampled some of their wine in the café. Before we left, we bought bottles for our way down south. Perfect price-quality in our opinion and super friendly staff! Will probably stay here again if we go back up north.

Report Check-In

Fantastic restaurant! We eat there, drunk some vine and could camp in the parking-lot for the employees. All people were super friendly. The night guard also showed us, where we can get drinking water from a tab. They let 1 restroom open all night.

Report Check-In

We are here because of the many helpful comments here. Thank you. And indeed, it is gorgeous. Calm, great wine, delicious restaurant and so nice horses with a great teacher. The ideal location for lifestyle overlanders who need a couple of free days from previous adventure.

Beautiful place as everyone says. Camping at gravel parking lot with access to restrooms 24 hours if taste and/or buy wine. Very nice owners and staff.

Report Check-In

Amazing place. Beautiful winery, good food and good wine. We are a family of 7 and we visited two other wineries before Viu Manent and none let us stay. At Viu Manent they will treat you great. Open bathroom all night. Access to water and warmth from every employee. Highly recommended. They have a special parking for RVs, motor homes and overlanders.

We couldn't try the restaurant but the cafeteria (which also has wine) was pretty good.

By the way, if you want to meet other overlanders, this should be a perfect spot. We met amazing people :)

Great place! Very Friendly people and beautifull vinyard. Arrived too late for a tour so did some wine tasting ourselves in the shop, cafe and restaurant. Great food! Booked the carriage tour for the next day. Toilet open all night. WiFi on the parking lot not that good, but inside it worked well. Cant recommend enough!

Report Check-In

Just to confirm the other entries: nice tour (EBikes and horse carriage, depending on weather and internal road situation), good wine, good food, nice people; and you may stay overnight when you consume something. Recommend visit parts bundling to reduce total cost.

Beautiful vineyard. Very friendly staff. We arrived at the cafe at 1900ish thinking we might be too late but the cafe was open till 2000. We had a bottle of wine and cheese board and asked to camp for the night in our campervan. All ok as previously described. Shown to the car park which gets locked and also the bano for our use. Wine 7000 - 12000 per bottle... and it's very good. Worth the treat.

Report Check-In

Paid 16k p.P. for the Winetasting Tour, including 5 different Wines. Bought some bottles of wine and had a very good medium rare Steak. We would recommend the wine and food. Instead of the Tour we would recommend to buy the wine directly ;-) Could stay here overnight and use the toilets and free WiFi. Very nice and quiet surrounding.

Report Check-In

First place with our campervan. Nice place and very kind people. We bought two bottles of wine, not too expensive and good, and we could stay for the night. Toilets are available 24/24 and internet works well near the cafeteria :) we recommend !!

Report Check-In

We arrived her around 4pm. We headed to the cafe and had a bottle of wine. After ordering another we asked about staying the night in our campervan. After asking her boss, our waitress showed us where to park. The cafe closed at 18:30, we walked back to the van and were greeted by a man who worked there. He chatted for a minute and then showed us where there was water and bathrooms, which were open 24/7. We even had "Ruzio" the dog as security for the night, he kept an eye on us. We would absolutely recommend staying here, the wine is great and so are the people.
