Off street parking, fits 4-5 vehicles. Quiet and dark street parking near a creek, in a non- residential wooded area. Big rigs can fit, should be enough room to turn around. There are a handful of other parking spots on the same road.
Why? By checking in after you’ve visited a place you let others know this place is still functional. You can also add or correct any information.
Spent the night and was not bothered. But some of the pull offs are looking kinda rough/uneven. You could tell big rigs have been there. I found a smaller pull off that’s flat. It’s such a nice and quiet spot just like the other said. But it was also a bit scary for me since it was so quiet and no one was there during the night. I was afraid if a robbery came and I’d be alone. But turned out everything was fine! Please leave no trace so we can keep this spot open!
Report Check-InNice quiet spot for one overnight. Several road bikes and a couple walkers went by early in the morning but otherwise didn’t encounter any traffic, people, or hassle.
Report Check-InArrived yesterday around 8:30pm and stayed till 6:30am, Police passed by, but didn’t bother. Rarely people walk through here, mostly bikers.
Report Check-InThanks to the location reviews here we decided to pull over for the night. Found an easy pullout for our 19’ trailer and truck. Didn’t get hassled by police, but we were only here from 8pm until 10am. Super quiet and serene.
Report Check-InNice spot along the Stanford reserve that felt a little more remote than its close proximity to Palo Alto. Got a knock from the police at 1:30am. I asked if it was illegal to park there and he said there should be a sign, but I'm not sure he really knew himself.
Report Check-Ina few pull outs along road. there is a fence on both sides of the road for a Stanford academic area. everyday at noon there are 30-40 bicyclers come down the road. keep it clean. LNT
