We needed some substantial repairs to our MAN 4x4 after falling off a cattle barge in the Pantanal and a too-close experience with an earth-mover. Timo and Felix replaced the electric steps and fixed all the bodywork, for a very fair price. The quality of their work is excellent and they’ve been professional and helpful throughout. We’ve stored the truck with them numerous times over the past few years, they’ve carried out various mechanical jobs for us and we’ve always found them to be reliable and trustworthy. As an engineer I can fix most things myself, but these guys are an excellent resource to fall back on.

We love this place. The guys from uy storage are still the best. They built us a complete new cabin on our old Landcruiser. We are so happy with this brillant result. So we could use all the things they offer on the campground. Water, electricity and a new washing machine. Even there offer toilet paper.
They still hold there prices. Fair enough to come again. Thx for all the fantastic work.

Propably the best place to camp, store and repair your vehicle. Had our truck stored with them, got it back in perfect conditions. They did a lot of changes to our rig, including upgrades on the electronics with Victron parts and batteries. They have a lot of spareparts and equipment in stock. 100% professionals in all your car will ever need. As well they build new RVs and Expedition trucks in a masterclass way. We come back!

Excellent, well run facility. Safe storage and good mechanical help. They were a godsend to me when I found them in March 2023. Now I use this place whenever I leave my car in South America and also get them to do mechanical work. When I was young I was a mechanic myself so I know good work when I see it.

Addendum
Timo is not the best. He installed a problem that was recognized by two car repair Shops being potentially dangerous for us, the engine and the alternator, and because of overheating a relais that could be a source of fire. We had to reverse Timo‘s work in a competent repair ship
We asked Timo for help. No answer!

Stayed here again, this time for 5 nights, preparing our motorhome for shipping back to Europe. Everything you need is there, including the workshop for last minute repairs, plus a new laundry machine, hot showers, and friendly guard dogs and lamas. Highly recommended.

stayed here again for two nights because we needed some work done on our camper. Still the perfect campsite - Clean facilities, hot showers, toilets with paper, WiFi. And a washing machine!!! Lovely guard dogs and guard llamas :-) We will come again in two months, looking forward to it!

I used the mechanical service from Felix and Timo. Under Felix restrictions they change the ball-bearing and the sealing ring (simmering). 15000 km later I lost a lot of oil and went to Mercedes Llanquihue, Chile. They took all out and mentioned that one ring was not placed correctly. Now the gear in the back axle is destroyed plus much more. Felix and Timo are debiting very high charges and now they refused to take responsibility. Do not use the mechanic service there for difficult issues. One belt was also not fit well after changing the water pipe.

Great disappointment. After helping us fast to get to them on a tow truck, they somehow totally lost interest in helping us with the problems with our car. We don’t know why, but in the end we left without them looking at 3 of the 4 problems we asked them to look at. After all the glowing reviews we didn’t expect this.

Optimal campsite to arrive or leave south america. Very good bathrooms, washing machine and other overlanders to share traveling ideas and/or material (e.g. gas bootles).
Highly recomended for south america beginners. Friendly hosts. 15 US$ per night including car and all persons.

Very nice place, good campground with all facilities described. And the owner has a car mechanic workshop with a lot of experience in expedition vehicles, so also a great place in case you have trouble with your car.

Great help. I got stuck with my troopy in Montevideo, ferry left early, needed help to store my car and take it on next ferry. Owner Timo was recommended from shipping agent KMA in Montevideo and seabridge Germany. Timo and staff are trustworthy, all went well, helped to get affidavit from lawyer, put car to the harbour though the ship was early, (good cooperation with shipping agent, who informed Timo in advance) All went well, all friendly, all trustful. I recommend this service from all what I kno. Thank you, Timo and staff

Nice campsite located at 50min from the airport.
It's a perfect place to stay before a flight, there is a private shuttle for $60.
Hot shower, very clean facilities, laundry, water for car washing..

you can also store your car for months (inside/outside).

a German family running a campground and mechanical service for trucks / vans turned out to be a great base camp for my adventures. these guys are traveling themselves a lot so a lot of newest information for your trip. facilities are great,clean and new. laundry machine and good WiFi made it a good place for me to prepare my next months...
