On the road to Tolar Grande.
you have to visit this place. it is extraordinarily
you can do it with a normal car.
it is far from Saltash but "le chemin en vaut le détour "
this place is not on the guides and no tourist !

Spectacular red dirt badlands that go on for miles and miles, and unspoiled by tire tracks for the most part. Worth the drive. Best camping is closer to Tolar Grande at the abandoned train depot.
Report Check-InBeautiful road on the way from Tolar Grande to Salar de Pocitos. But be aware: it’s very steep and the ripio is not that good. And yes… it is possible to do with any car, but get ready for many miles of pure shaking 😂
_______
Report Check-InNice road, nice views! Still OK with any car.
Wouldn't take a big detour for it, but if you're passing by....
These guys are talking about the RP27 which winds thru a nice red mud/sandstone scenery. Some few stretches are narrow but the ripio is very good.
Report Check-InWell, this guy is talking about seven hairpins winding up a red mountain. Can be done with all cars, but be aware: we are only talking about some hairpins which you can find everywhere in the Andes
