Great place for birding. 400 species of birds with 35 species of colibris. Opens at 8am.
Fee to the birding trails is 5$US or 3000Colones per person.
If you pay for the trails you can camp for free on the parking next to the restaurant.
If you don't bird but eat at the restaurant, you can also camp for free.
The owner is the chef of the restaurant and very welcoming. We didn't eat at the restaurant but he is one of the best chef of Costa Rica. Heard the food was great.
Access via a narrow dirt road. No problem with our 7m/23feet long Iveco. Not sure for bigger rig.
Didn't ask for shower or toilets.
