A nice law enforcement officer stopped by and said no overnight parking is allowed within the city limits.
Report Check-InVERY sloped parking lot. Had to make my own blocks to get about 6" rise on one side and still a bit slanted. Only one here for the night and no knocks on the window. One thing to note is there is a visitor center down the hill. Good Tmobile and Sprint LTE. Sewage plant nearby that can be stinky if you sleep with windows open.
Report Check-InGatlinberg PD came knocking twice, once at 1:15am and another officer at 2:45am. They were courteous both times and let me stay to sleep, but it took a while to get back to sleep both times.
Report Check-InBig parking in a big slope! In the day there are plenty of cars because there are shuttles that go to Gatlinberg and Pigeon Forge. At night, nobody. About 15 mins of Sugarland entrance of the great smoky mountains.
Report Check-InFree RV parking near the entrance of Smokey Mountain National Park. It was very calm at night. You will need wood block for leveling because the parking is in a slope.
