Description

Miles of open Sandy Beach. I took the paved road towards Melito Albanez and turned left at a sign that said Agua Blanca Club Campestre. It's a dirt road that goes straight towards the ocean. Didn't need 4WD here but the road isn't maintained. Getting near the water revealed that long ago some streets were cut and even street signs were put up. But it's just cattle grazing now. Your adventure may be a different route. I see tire tracks on the beach so that's another way. 4WD if you get in the sand. There is a high dune separating the beach from most vehicle access. The arroyo at this location would be mucky mud when wet. Don't know if it gets wet from rains or from the tide pushing up water but it was dry enough to drive on today. Know what high tide is plus waves!
Get H+ cell and data from the nearby town.
Nearby town had a weird vibe. Bunch of drunk men hanging around the street
on a Sunday afternoon.
Saw surfing dolphins and jumping whales!

Stayed two nights. Beautiful place. The beach and sunsets were perfect. Quite a few whales swam by just 50 yards off the beach, the water gets deep fast!

Report Check-In

Good spot for a night. Recommend it for smaller vehicles.

Bizarre but benign….Effigies at yacht club. Dystopian weird-scape. Air down and enjoy full beach vacancy save for Semana Santa.

Report Check-In

Only if you like wind, sand, and cow crap.

Rode an ADV motorcycle back here. Sandy roads are slow-going. When I got out here, there's just no great place for a tent. Lots of wide open area, but everywhere is either fine loose sand, scrubby rugged ground, or lumpy from hooves and filled with crap.

It's quite remote. You're unlikely to see anyone else out here. You could put up a tent in a pinch.
