Something not right?

Description

This is a beautifully desolate area of hilly grassland with lots of guanacos. There are likely many other nice places on this stretch of road. We just drove off the main road following a simple dirt track/waterway around a hill. 4x4 may be good, but probably ok without. This is in the middle of nowhere with view on Torres del Paine far in the distance. Barely any traffic on the dirt road. Quiet and nice. We had no wind but there's hardly any protection. Had a great New Year's Eve here!

Latest Check-Ins

Great totally quiet place to spend the night. Strong winds in the evening but they calmed down over night. Beautiful pampa, guanacos and foxes.

Report Check-In

Wow! Amazing views! Walking around, I found two spooky friends, so since it was Halloween, I built them little altars. It's on the hill to the north. The shells are from Mexico, the ribs from Peru, the fabrics from Honduras, the rope from Canada and the skull from Argentina. Their names are Bertrand and Jules. Please be kind to them. The wind was insane, though, so I fear it will eventually break them.

I will add pictures later.

This place is so beautiful! Jaw dropping! No wind. Very remote and one truck an hour max. Free.
