We were there, for one night, on our way to the south. Graham was a super host, told us some stories of his live and about the living in Colombia. Price was $80.000 for a Landcruiser and 2 adults.
Report Check-InNice spot to spend the night after picking up our vehicle at the RORO port in Cartegena. Flat, shady with a really nice Rancho for eating and hanging out. Water is potable from the well, but has limestone in it, typical of a well in the area. Graham loaned us a drill to remove the screws from our plywood partition that we installed for shipping. The animals are really fun for kids, especially Catalina the orphaned goat who can be bottle fed and held by kids. Great first overland stop in South America as we head West and South
Report Check-InSuch a good place! Graham is so nice and the spot is very cool. Animals for kids it’s perfect! Just 15min from the Harnois after the shipping from Panamá. We recommend it.
Report Check-Inwhe stayed here for one night with our campervan (just picked up from the customs at the harbour). verry nice people and nice small farm animals to see. We rearrange everything in the campervan and with al lot of tips from the owners (speaks perfect English) we went of the next day. nice spot, clean toilets and shower.
Report Check-InVery Nice place, With a lot of animals! The kids
love the place! Graham, her wife & son are very nice to!
Wasn’t impressed at all with this place. 50,000COP per night. No toilet paper. Grass up to our knees. Donkey and sheep manure everywhere. Very muddy and not level. Wifi only available on porch. And then only until 5:00pm. Couldn’t find anyone to open gate so we could leave. Waited over an hour at mid day on Sunday just to depart.
Report Check-InBeautiful place in Graham's farm. Kids enjoyed looking at the animals. Graham's wife was so kind. She went to supermarket for us. We were just arriving from Cartagena and it was the perfect place to relax.
Report Check-InEnjoyed our stay at Finca el Manantial. Such a tranquil environment after the buzzing City of Cartagena. Beautiful grounds, happy animals and friendly people. Clean bathroom and shower, paid 40000 for 2 people in a truck camper, totally worth it. Did I mention the beautiful view at night.....
Report Check-InWe stayed here for 2 nights. Nice camping under trees. Lots of animals around! WiFi is good at the main house where you can sit at the beautiful veranda. Friendly and helpful owner! We took a private taxi to Cartagena (~50 min) for 40.000 COP.
Report Check-InLovely spaces for campers and big rigs to set up, some shade trees, clean toilet/shower/laundry sink and a kitchen sink and small bench under small covered area.
It rained a lot while we were here trying to prepare the car for shipping....can get muddy if there’s too much rain so it’s not ideal for this if it’s raining! Plenty of water to wash the car though and a hose available. As others have said, wifi is ok/good (depending on the cloud cover). The wifi only works on the verandah, but you can sit there in the shade and it’s very pleasant. Graham is friendly and helpful.
Animals are typically noisy farm animals..sheep, cows, a macaw, dogs, pigs, turkeys, rooster etc. a lovely environment if you’re travelling with children. We paid $40,000COP per night(for 2 people) plus $10,000COP for one night’s electricity....a bit more than we have paid anywhere else in Colombia.
Lovely place with a constant breeze and a great view but paying extra for electrical hookup and not possible to run our ac.
No dump available.
Seeing the comments we expected more.
RUM: kleiner Nachtrag...
Report Check-InRUM: small supplement ... We were there for 5 days. THE WATER IS DRINKABLE ... There are hardly any mosquitos, but there are some flies that sting one easily. It was very nice there, but a little too expensive.
Report Check-InRUM: The place is very nice and has a lot of shade. The toilets and showers are very clean. Washing area and washing clothes is also there. It is very quiet here. The view of the Oel harbor in the dark is impressive.
Hello
Realy good place to take a break with our family.
The owner and the other persons who live or work here are so friendly.
You are in a farm so after 07 AM you'll ear all the animals...but it's nice...
The good things it's that there is a lot of tree with good shadow and always a litlle wind night and day (you are just at the top of the mountain so the wind come from the sea).
So you can have fresh night in your truck and good day in the hamoc...
And the view on Carthagene and the sea is so great.
The shower and toilets are clean.
The wifi is not realy good.
The price is a litlle bit expensive but this place is great
We pay 70000 pesos for a family of 5.
For the truck we are 8.1 long, 2.5 large and 3.7 high..., it's ok to come here but it's better to come by Turbaco....and don't make tourism with your truck in the village... (like me!)
Graham was a wonderful and helpful host. We had car problems 10 mins after leaving Puerto Bahia but made it to his place and he immediately offered to arrange for his mechanic to come over the next day (a Saturday!). So we got the car checked out and given the OK and because we had not been able to pick up food or propane on the way in, he offered us the use of an electric stove and also dropped me off in town at the supermarket so we could stock up. Very kind and much appreciated. The farm is lovely, dogs are very affectionate and we enjoyed seeing the macaw and donkey too! Wifi is decent from the house, bathroom very clean, no hot water but you really don't need it as the weather is so hot! We stayed 2 nights for 35,000 pesos a night (2 people in a truck camper). I think there is an option to hook up to electric for an extra charge but we didn't need it. Highly recommend this campground!

Electric hookup (110v) available for additional charge, requires long extension cable. Highly recommend!
Report Check-InHelpful and friendly host! We were able to plug in our camper with a long extension cord.
Report Check-InWhat a lovely spot! We extracted our truck from the port in Cartagena late in the afternoon and Graham's property is about 50 minutes outside of town so it was a perfect place to spend the night. The breezes on the hill made it significantly cooler than Caragena, which was a welcome relief.
Our kids adored meeting all the animals; feeding the pigs and playing with the puppies was the highlight of their time in South America so far!
The spot was level and had plenty of room. We paid 35,000 for our truck camper. Thanks Graham, you provided a lovely welcome to South America.
Report Check-InAbsolutely beautiful place...full of peace very quiet and if you love animals like we do you will be delighted with all of Graham's animals. Before your arrival its best to send or call so he knows you are coming so he can welcome you at the gate which remains closed usually for security. There is a shower and toilet which you can use 24hrs. Graham is a very nice man from England who has lived in Colombia many years. He is very knowledgable about the country and he will provide you with all the info he can give you...we left sadly this morning. 101% recommended. Beautiful view over the Cartagena city, perfect before or after shipping and to visit Cartagena which is also a very nice city. Well guys, we wish youjust as a good time as we had there. Gracias Graham...!!
Report Check-InArrived late, door was closed. We slept in front of the entrance.
Next Day we could enter.
Graham is a very nice and helpful Owner. Nice Place, not the cheapest one but its also good for Big Rigs.
Nice place to reorganize the stuff after shipping from Panama to Colombia. We spant 2 nights there. Graham is a really friendly host and gave us lot of information about the region and roads to take. Toilet and shower were clean. WIFI did not work when we were there. We paied 35000 Pesos per night.
Report Check-InWe stayed on this wonderful farm in a nice sheltered place under an orange tree for one week beginning of March to prepare the transport of our Van from Cartagena to Mexico. The owners are an extremely welcoming couple and have been of great help and advise as for the paper work as for getting the car ready for shipping. Graham helped out with tools, WiFi was excellent, we could use the washing machine. Bathroom was clean and open all night.
The oranges were extremely refreshing, the diversity of animals interesting to see and we appreciated lots of nice conversations and learned some things about farming.
We had an agreable and successful stay on Finca El Manantial and can definitely recommend Vida Campestre.
Graham was indeed lovely, but the flies, heat with lack of breezes, and overwhelming smell of sheep faeces got too much and we left after one night. Wifi was available but was slower than the 1 bar of Claro reception we got.
Report Check-InIts very quit and a very friendly orner. 35.000 COP not cheap but it a very nice place for this mony. You stop on the portal when close. A smal dor is open in the portal.
Report Check-InAs the description. Nice place in the countryside just out of Cartagena. Graham is very friendly. Lots of cute animals. We were able to use bathrooms when we tried just after 8. Grassy with trees for shade. Would recommend.
Report Check-InNice place but, cold shower, no internet, no tuck shop and from the campspots no view on Cartagena or the valley.
Report Check-In30k. Graham is very friendly and helpful and his Finca is the perfect place to get the van ready for shipping.
Report Check-InWould recommend calling ahead. We had to hop the gate and walk in to get someone down to open the gate. Perfect refuge in the hills away from the hot and hectic city.
Report Check-InLocation overlooking Cartagena and the islands.
Graham is going to invest in a larger level place with 110v connection and water to accomodate overlanders better.
Toilet and shower are in the outside of house and accesible 24 hours.
No-internet when we where there; is on the wish list.
Really quite at night
Friendly and accomodating.
We had electricity at the Site, but for 10k per day! Internet was good. nun
Report Check-InElectrical 110 volt connections are being installed at individual sites. Hooking up will be charged at $10.000 per day.
A "tuck shop" will be operating as from 1° December offering snacks, pulled pork baguettes and locally produced fruit juices
30.000 for 2 persons. Grassy area. Bathroom is part of the owner's house, so it's closed from 8pm to 6 am. We didn't know so it was a little inconvenient.
Report Check-InWe arrived late and we had a great welcome from Graham and his kids.
30000Cop per night per camper
Nice place !!!
Nice new camping! 30'000 per car.
The owner is a very nice, retired English man.
Grassy area with view over Cartagena and a beautiful sunset. It's like to stay on a farm - all kind of animals around.
Wifi doesn't reach the camping.
At some places is electricity.
It's also great to prepar for shipping (plenty of water to wash everything) and for us the best place in and around Cartagena.
