Note, we were charged 500 pesco’s for the van and 300 each person for one night by the park wardens as we departed.
Great spot for stopping off the road going north or south as no noise from the road. Clean parking area at the rear for large rigs and trees for the tenters. There are public toilets - not sure the opening hours.

Wasn’t free for us - 1,100 pesos for both of us in one tent arriving on bicycles. There’s an outdoor shower with cold water by the entrance to the swimming pool. Plug sockets in the bathroom if you need to charge something. Fair few trees around for shade.

Dormimos una noche en este camping municipal gratuito. Hay baños, enchufes y llaves de agua. El empleado es muy simpático y nos explico todo al llegar. Cierran incluso el portón en la noche, entonces se siente muy seguro. En la tarde vienen niños a jugar fútbol y familias a pasear. Está cerrado los fines de semana pero nos explicó cómo salir con un sistema de candado. La piscina estaba cerrada, abre la próxima semana.

Quiet, clean bathroom, green and a lot of space. We talked to the man in charge of the park and he let us stay for the night « no pronlemo ».

Perfect for cyclers!
Arrived at 17:00 and was everything perfect. The three workers who take care of it are realy nice. They let the bathroom opened for me at night! No showers but running potable water available!

Excellent spot. As the other comments have said, gates close at 9pm and opened in the morning at 8am. We asked the caretaker in the toilets if we could stay and he was very nice.
Not sure if toilets were open all night but they were early in the morning. Men's is a little run down and you'll definitely need your own paper. Water taps can be found dotted around the camping area.
Great 4g Movistar and Claro signal.

Nice and safe place to stay at night for free. They dont have showers but toilets are good.

Loving guys take care of the place, they will let you stay the time you want and let you use the bathrooms.

It's a free camping municipal, they've let us stay here with horses. there's a swimming pool as well, no WiFi and showers though, but you can take shower in nearby Rotiseria for 30 peso.

This is the sport center of pareditas. They usually let people put their tent. It is perfect as they close the site from 9pm to 7 am and let you use the toilet and open swimming pool! Good grass and trees and people very friendly. A paradise for this dry area and for free!
