Iran
Camping on the fenced parking next to the park. Very nice camping place that is also quiet at night. Local people also camp here on the gras of the park. 100.000 Rial per car. Toilets nearby. 4G Irancell signal.
Why? By checking in after you’ve visited a place you let others know this place is still functional. You can also add or correct any information.
If you want to practice your bargaining skills and still get scammed at the end of the night, this is the place to be!
Originally they asked six times the advertised price, it took us hours to get this down to an acceptable level. Of course we were not concerned about a few euros, but more about the principle!
The worst parking lot we used in Iran. Once again in Iran, we are asked to pay much more than the price indicated at the entrance and under the pretext that we are European the price is multiplied by 6 and ask us 2.5 millions Rials for 1 night (normal price on the entrance panel is 400000 rials or 40000 tomen/24h with a big véhicule as minibus). The manager is clearly a pretentious anti-European. After a very long negotiation we will pay 3 times the price. Unfortunately it was late in the evening and we really didn't want to find another location in this crowded city. In another context we would have left without hesitation. So avoid.
Report Check-InWe parked and slept here for 2 days during the Iranian holidays of New year. It was busy but the parking is quite big and calm.
We had to pay 300 000 rials for 2 nights. The parking is a little bit out of the city but we can easily order a taxi with the application or the website Snapp and go to the center.
The worst place in the last 6 month!
After paying 500.000 IRR we realised, that we are on a tiny full packed parking place.
The park is separate by fence and is well used until 1 am.
No idea, why this is a iOverlander spot.
Tenting is not allowed, no chance for pets.
Big rig problematic (they have to move the cashier and watch out for branches). We spent two nights here. The Children's Songs from the neighbouring children's amusement are boring. It also can be loud during the whole night. We stood for two nights, they wanted Rial 700'000 per night, we paid 600'000
Report Check-InFriday night was very noisy, till 23'30 when the “amusement park“ closed.
We payed 300.000 rial.
Water and toilet near by.
We did not stay here but checked the place out by foot on a Friday evening: the fenced parking area is very small and tight - VERY CERTAINLY NOT FOR BIG RIGS!!!
I wonder who finds this place a good place to camp ... there is a lively and hence very noisy fair ground just next door ... so no way of being quiet ... I doubt the it is possible to camp in the park, i.e. outside the parking --> in my opinion this place should not be suggested as a place to spend the night
its a easy parking. they ask for 450 000 rial. we payed 300 000 in the end (with a campervan) it was friday night. we had enough space (the guard parked all the cars a bit away from.us, so we could sit outside. (because off this the price was ok!)
Report Check-InThis place is in wrong location - it is located at 29.63000, 52.54210
Report Check-InNice parking lot.
We paid 200k for a big truck per night. We did not haggle because… why should we? It’s a fair price.
Confirm 100k Rial per car. Quiet, toilets nearby (there is a hole in the fence as shortcut to the toilets). Friendly guard. Small shops around the park.
Report Check-InIt is 200.000 now. Tried to negotiate but needed to pay the minibus price with the campervan. A normal car/4WD is still 100.000 though...
happy travels! www.wanderingsouls.be
100,000 Rials per car per night. Parking is fenced off from park and is a short walk (~100m) around the fence to the toilets. Locals hang around in park til late and come in early to exercise.
