Price as mentioned below. It's not a real camping but an awesome garden next to the owners house. You can use their bathroom. They have several dogs and cats. Albeiro and Gloria are amazing and very hospitable. We spent one night there, left the car for 5 days and came back for another night. Car was absolutely secure.

Good option for uncovered storage. We left our car for 3 weeks here, felt very secure about it. Totally fine when we returned. We stayed for 2 nights afterward.
This place feels like more of an informal campsite. It’s a little bit awkward, you go inside their house to shower or use the washroom, they lock the doors at 9pm. The hosts are really friendly, but very adamant that you practice Spanish with them. You need to get them to let you in and out of the property. There was a neighbouring bar playing loud music until after 4am (Fri & Sat), lots of roosters in the camping area. If you’re a light sleeper, I wouldn’t recommend it. It’s a fine option for a night if you need somewhere close to Cartagena, breezy evenings.

Report Check-In

Lovely couple running the place. It's more a homestay than a campsite. That has it's pros and cons. You'll be invites for a game of tennis and for a chat. We liked that we had all the space to get our van sorted after the whole shipping ordeal. And yes, the roosters and donkey will wake you up.

Report Check-In

As described, very friendly hosts who offered us to sit down with them with a glas of wine at night and talk about our travels (and practice our Spanish).

The new price is 20.000 per person.

Report Check-In

very nice campground, very friendly , hospitable and helpful people. the little inconvenience that had been mentioned, of the locked gate is definitely made up by the chance, to sleep with wide open doors and enjoy the cool night breezes. Definitely a superb place to stay when you need to get your car ready for shipping or after shipping, or if you need a break.
only can be recommended.

Report Check-In

We can just follow the comments of Elisabeth Schwarz. In addition you can enjoy a tennis match on the only sand ground in the area with Albeiro, who is a professional teacher in tennis. Pets are welcome.

Report Check-In

After a couple nights at a nearby campground we tried this place. It was obvious early on that we weren’t welcome. This place is not a full service campground. It is a spot to part in overgrown weeds in someone’s yard while animals roam around your vehicle. We elected not to do so. Also no services we included at the quoted price of 18,000COP. Very difficult place to find and owner seemed genuinely uninterested in hosting campers of any sort.

Report Check-In

Great spot to stay after picking our van in Cartagena. Gloria and Alberto are very nice and helpful. Do not hesitate to stay a whole day to enjoy this very relaxing place and maybe even play tennis on their personal court. A bit noisy sometimes during the night due to the dogs and other animals. Still 18'000 COP.

Report Check-In

We send Gloria in advance a WhatsApp massage and also as we arrived at her gate. We had not many space to get through the gates. Our RV is 2,50 m wide and 3,60 m high. As we drove in our RV was 7,25 m long and 7,85 m as we drove out (for the shipping we put our bicycles inside and at the campground we mounted them again on the back).
Gloria was so patiently with our little spanish and teached us some words.
COP 18.000 / person

Report Check-In

Not sure why so many people have rave reviews. Pros: lots of space, impeccably clean bathroom. Cons: no Wi-Fi, no potable water, no open access to the property so you must be let in/out, barking dogs (all the dogs all the time), super rocky camp surface, expensive, outlets only inside her house. Seemed like way too much downside when you can get most of these amenities for 5-10k cop more in an air conditioned room at most hotels/ hostels in Colombia.

Report Check-In

This place comes highly recommended. Gloria and Albeiro are very welcoming and extremely helpful with any matter. It is very enjoyable for kids. The area is huge to play around and the dogs and cats are always an attraction. Little Snoopy was the favorite.

Report Check-In

Gloria recieved us as family, very hospitable. Very nice, clean and safe place to stay.

Report Check-In

Schöner ruhiger Platz. Tolle Dusche und Toilette. Die Eigentümer sind sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Der Platz ist etwas schwierig zu finden, und für Fahrzeuge über 7 m nicht geeignet.

Report Check-In

We stayed there for 3 nights with our tent, and it was a good location to visit Cartagena and Playa Blanca (extremely crowded btw)
Gloria and Albeiro were very nice and warm hosts! They were very polite and did their best to make us and our dog feel like home. Their garden is big and comfy, and they have a tennis court, which Albeiro enjoys to share with his guests.

Only one tip: If you pitch your tent here, be sure to put it where sun doesnt get too early. Otherwise you will be up and out at 6 AM
Also, on weekends the neighborhood is a bit too noisy, but that happens everywhere in the colombian coast.

Report Check-In

We stayed the night at this place. Was very tranquilo and comfortable. The dogs and cats are lovely. We also parked the car 12 days as we went to San Andres and stayed in Cartagena without the car. Good to reach Cartagena with Public Transport. Very friendly and welcoming. Super flexible!

Report Check-In

We enjoyed the time at this place. There is plenty of space. Really clean and big bathroom. It was a great place for our dog, too.

Report Check-In

Send a WhatsApp message bevor arrival to make sure they are around. Moreover, you have to call once you’ve arrived, as the gates are always locked and there is no door bell. Nice garden with level grounds and spotless clean bathroom. Gloria is nice, her husband is abroad. She doesn’t speak English, so you can practice your Spanish. Moreover, she is very concerned about her dogs and if guests get well along with them. No problem, they protect the entrance of the house and bark at you if you need to use the toilet (bathroom is inside their house) during night, but are friendly dogs, Snoopy is super sweet. Here they separate trash, but there is no real place to wash your dishes. There is an outside water tap, but waste water (e.g. with dishwasher soap) has to be poured into the garden compost, according to Gloria, that’s ok. It’s a safe place in a private garden surrounded by other houses with all the usual civilization noises (e.g. music), however no WiFi provided. Therefore, not the best place if you want to prepare your vehicle for shipping (cleaning inside, spreading out your things with no shelter from rain in the garden & staying in contact with your shipping agent). However, there is always a work around, and Gloria generously offered her study to pack our bags. BTW: There are a few biting bugs around during dawn and night, but place cools down a bit at night which makes it easier to sleep.

Report Check-In

very quiet place after cartagena. gloria the owner is very friendly.

Report Check-In

Lovely place, really clean bathroom and toilet. Enough shade. Really nice owners!!! Paid 38.000 for 2 persons and 20.000 for two big loads of laundry.

Report Check-In

an awesome place to stay. gloria was wonderful and helped us a lot! a great place to recharge

Report Check-In

very welcoming couple, wish we could have stayed longer to practise our Spanish. We arrived after dark having taken forever to sort insurance in Cartagena and they were very welcoming. big flat camping area, spotless bathroom and option for a fire but unnecessary in the heat!

Report Check-In

Great place with a large camping area with a lot of shade. Much cooler then Cartagena. You get to use there house with a very nice bathroom. There is tap water and you can electricity with extension court.
The owners are so welcoming and nice which makes this place so special.

They asked us to make clear that the costs for camping are 18000pp including the vehicle.

The 6000 $ are only for a parked vehicle per day if you leave it at there property.

Report Check-In

We loved being here with Gloria and Albeiro! We are traveling as two families with 4 kids between us, and each kid got to play tennis with Albeiro, even the 4 year old! He is so patient, encouraging and kind with tennis, as well as helping us with our Spanish. They arranged Tuktuks into town for us (just $1 each way), and we shared a wonderful New Year's Eve dinner together. Gloria is full of helpful advice, amazing with her array of rescued dogs, and very caring. The grounds and house are very nice, the bathrooms amazingly spotless and modern. We had a hard time leaving our daily tennis matches and great conversations and new friends. Best intro to Colombia one could wish for!

Report Check-In

Lovely grassy camping area - our dog loved running around with all the other doggies. The owners make this such a special place, they were so patient taking time to help us improve our mediocre Spanish and bought us fruit juice & coffee.

Report Check-In

we loved this place! Gloria and Alviero were such amazing hosts who went out of their way to look after us. We especially loved the evening chats in Spanish and we really improved our Spanish practicing with them.

The dogs are really cute (especially Snoopy) and Gloria and Alviero are passionate about rescuing street dogs. Part of the money you pay to camp goes towards sterilising and treating a street dog.

Facilities are super clean and there is a lot of space to camp. Also much cooler at night then in Cartagena.

Report Check-In

Wonderful place with even better hosts.
Play some tennis, share a few beers or a glass of wine and brush up on your Spanish with great conversation.
Gloria and Alveiro will provide info on the nearby town of Turbaco for restocking supplies or help arrange transportation to Cartagena.
They will take great care of your vehicle for short or long term storage and great care of you while you're on the property.

Report Check-In

Excellent place! spent a week here while they taught me better Spanish and a few rounds of tennis.
Camping 18,000. Have full use of the bathroom, shower etc in the house. 10,000 for laundry.
8 dogs, 4 cats & 2 extremely friendly hosts.
You need to ask the neighbours to call them when you arrive, its one gate over.

Report Check-In

What a fantastic place to land. The hosts (Gloria and Aiberto) were beyond generous and spent an hour with us that evening conversing in Spanish. The dogs were fun. The only downside was the roosters and noisy neighbors but it was still a great nights sleep for our group. Plenty of room for vehicles and trailers.

Report Check-In

Beautiful place with large grassy areas, shade under trees and a red tennis court. what really made our stay memorable were the hosts - charming and deeply honest people. Thank you, Gloria and Albeiro!

Report Check-In

Very nice place to set your tent after cycling out of Cartagena. Huge green garden with a chilly breeze, shady places and lovely owners. We enjoyed the time with Gloria&Alviero very much! It's also a perfect place for learning spanish;-) Thanks for all and best wishes.

Report Check-In

Very nice people, great to get out of the City after got out the car from the harbour. Lot of space, they keep their dogs inside at night but there are a few others around, also a few roosters, still highly recomended!

Report Check-In

We found all what was written by iov.
It's a very nice place.
Very good: they separate the garbage in plastic, glass, paper and organic waste.
Our camper is 7.45m long and 2.35m wide. That just went from the road through the first gate!

Report Check-In

As described below. Gloria y Alveiro are wonderfull. We had good discussions by a glass of wine.
They do also mind your car very carefully while you are visiting Cartagena for a while or you are back home (approx 6000 cop / day).

Report Check-In

Everything as described. Price is now 18,000 cop p/p and they have a "Camping" sign at the gate.
Hosts are super nice.

Report Check-In

Look for the gate that says La Pradera at the top. Gloria & Albiero are some of the warmest, kindest hosts we've met! They watch dogs as part of their business so there may be a few in addition to their six. All are friendly (especially Snoopy!). They also have cats inside the house. We really enjoyed practicing our Spanish with them and they made a point to sit down and have conversations for practice. Bathroom is inside the house and is big and clean! They leave the door unlocked all night for you. We bought garafons of water from them as well. Neighborhood dogs, turkeys and roosters make a bit of noise at night but ear plugs should help! Gloria and Albiero really make the place.

Report Check-In

As said before they are a wonderful, welcoming couple.
We really enjoyed staying there and chatting with them.
The price is still 30000 Colombian pesos for two people.
They offer dog-sitting for a small fee if you want to go into Cartagena or do something else without your dog.

Report Check-In

We had an awesome stay with Gloria and Alvero! They are great hosts and amazingly welcoming. You do have to wake the neighbors, as you cross their property to get back to Alveros and Gloria's place. But they are warm and welcoming as well. There is a great amount of space for dogs to run and play and their group of pets are well socialized and get along fine. They do have power available but you must have a long high quality cord or the voltage will drop too low to be useful for anything other than a few lights. Their water pressure is a bit low, but the bathroom is CLEAN and nice. The little town of Turbaco is great place to hang low for a couple days as your prep to enter or leave South America. We definitely can recommend it.

Report Check-In

Gloria&Alberto are very nice, helpful and welcoming. So are their dogs! It's a big and beautiful property with lemon and papaya trees. Bonus: a tennis court. Just mind the neighbour's dog...

Report Check-In

Nice location in a big garden, wel maintained and like all already have said before very friendly owners.
Plenty of place to park, also shaded spots.
Only con is the loud music in weekends and holidays from the neighbouring plots.

Report Check-In

Very nice people. They still don't have a doorbell. So must wake up the neighbours! Laundry Service for 10k p/washing machine. I just wanted to add a Foto of Snoopy. And they got a dump station. We only found three in South America.

Report Check-In

accueil charmant. site agreable, au calme. toilette et douche dans la maison impeccables. 15000 cop/pers.

Report Check-In

Colombia at its best! Gloria and Albeiro are wonderful hosts and you feel like home from the first minute. Beautiful garden, tennis court, super clean bathroom and very relaxing atmosphere. It's also home of 7 dogs and 4 cats, but all behave very well. Especially Snoopy is very fond of Overlander. Tennis lessons can be taken with Albeiro. Laundry service is available, COP 10'000/machine

Report Check-In

Gloria was the best host that we ever had! She was always ready to help us in whatever we needed. They have a huge garden with shade where you can park the rig (big camper friendly, the entrance a little bit narrow, but we could fit our 25 feet trailer), with electricity if you need and a bathroom inside their house. The water didnt have enough preasure, so they helped us to charge our tank. They have 7 friendly dogs and four cats. The place is 20 minutes driving from Cartagena, we went to and from three different days without any problem. It costed 30,000 COP the night for the two of us and our dog. We strongly recommend this place for any kind of traveler!! Hope to meet Albeiro the next time!!

Report Check-In

The best welcome home feeling we ever had! Perfect place to stay! The are sharing all their house with you.

Report Check-In

Nice place if you do not want to stay in the Hotel parking Bellavista in Cartagena. Nice and lovely owners, you feel like at home and you have to use a bathroom in their house. They love to talk or drink a beer together. Good place to prepare you vehicle for shippinh or to relax after shipping. We paid 15'000 COP per person per night. There is no hight restriction. To in and out you have to cross the property of a neighbour and the owners have to open the locked gate. There is no wifi...

Report Check-In

Perfect place to prepare our vehicle after shipping from Panama. We got our vehicle "Hommiee" at 2 pm and needed to clean it up, stack things properly. This place is about 1 hour from Cartagena so just right to take a stop. Owners are just wonderful, welcoming and make you feel at home. We took the room next to toilet as were too exhausted ...cost was 35,000pp. There are 6 dogs and 4 cats ( owner rescued them from street) and finally said no more. Snoopy is a super cute dog just watch your toes he likes to sniff n nibble on them. Rest dogs leave you alone after barking. 4 cats are Super clean, gorgeous things ...loved patting them. So yes if you like people n animals n need a breather after all that shipping it's a good place. We did little shopping from a local supermarket w the owner n he treated us to these wonderful egg pies n we bought the beers...next morning we left but will remember these folks for sure :)

Nice finca, super friendly owners, perfect clean bathroom, great place to prepare your vehicle for shipping or after shipping. They also have laundry service. A super market is in walking distance.

This place is wonderful! The owners are so lovely! There is a hugh grassy area as well as very new and clean bathroom in their house. Look out for the dogs when you enter the place (snoopy).

Very nice finca close to Cartagena with a big garden with trees. Helpful and charming owners with 6 dogs and 4 cats. Albeiro and Gloria speak Spanish and Albeiro a little bit of English and German. Perfect to prepare the car to travel on. There are several supermarkets closeby. Around 15'000 per Person per night. There is the possibility to rent a room. Shower is very big and clean. They have a tennis court and you could take lessons. Call or text them in advance. +57 320 565 25 30 or 311 418 97 34. They have Whats App. Email [email protected].
