Free campings in national park not currently open! Paid campings only.

Still free. We put up our tent in parking area instead of bringing all of our stuff closer to the beach. Only folks there. Note that many trails and campgrounds may be closed in early Dec. Check with park guards.

Perfect place for camping. lots of nice protected spots for tents by the lake, fire pits. If motorised you'll have to let the vehicle 100m up in a clearing in the woods. If cycling or walking just go by the lake and enjoy the spot. you'll find a safer water source than the lake going right while facing the lake. this water is coming from the waterfall and seems clean enough to me.

beautiful free campspot directly by the lake, There is a big tree on the shore, that gives shelter from the wind, beautful view

Still low season. Park entrance free. Very quiet. Ok we had the place for our own.... Camping near the lake. Free!!

As described. Lots of flat areas. Tree cover. On the lake. Fire pits. No services. I was there in early May 2018. I was the only person there. Some apple trees as well.

No need to add all is said below. just such shame people do not clean up after themselves. having said this with a entrance fee of 250arg. you would think rangers would work a little harder to keep the place clean instead of just cruising around? I can imagine this place being packed in Jan/Feb and possible too busy? we had the place to ourselves. enough firewood for a great warm fire and BBQ. No facilities but water from the lake is drinkable.

Report Check-In

Full of trash and unfortunately like in most free campsites in Argentina there are some people around making this place their own open air disco all night long.

Report Check-In

Very busy with locals during the day. Great views of the mountains and the lake. No charge!
