Beach Road #4: we turned and went on the beach from that entrance that is just before a series of 7-8 houses. We went on the left so we don’t park in front of houses. Some rigs were about 3 km out on the right.
The sand is hard packed and no problem with our 2 WD ProMaster. Two more rigs with us. Close to the road but waves are making enough noise :). Arrived at 5 pm and left at 10 am. A good place for a night or two if you want to visit Galveston.
You have to pay 2$ CASH for the bridge on your way in.
Report Check-InBeach access #4. Free. Easy. Park right next to the Mexican Gulf. Windy. Lots of room.
Report Check-InBeautiful spot on the beach. Pelicans and other birds are pleasant to watch. No mosquitoes, likely due to wind. Peaceful. Sand is hard, seems very safe to drive. Quiet and clean spot.
Report Check-InINSANE killer mosquitoes on Aug 19, 2022. Fishing was pretty good. Caught Whiting and cats, but at dusk, literally the minute the sun disappeared, mosquitoes swarmed the beach, even over the water. I was going to camp in my car but it was full of mosquitoes before I got my rod and chair packed. I had to drive with the windows down to blow them out. I'll try again another day.
Report Check-InI cannot believe how empty this spot is on a gorgeous Friday evening! As others said: possibly perfect.
Report Check-InGreat stay. Clean, safe. Pulled in at night. There were a couple of other cars and vans. Ton’s of safe between campers. Free too. The next morning there were volunteers picking up trash. The beach is very clean.
Report Check-InArrived late after sunset. A lot of wind. So no mosquitoes ! The surface of the beach is quite narrow at high tide. Very quiet. Better to stay far from houses.
Arrivée à la brûnante. Très tranquille. Se stationner loin des maisons. Poubelles à l'entrée seulement.
Just as others report. Very quiet because of the off season. Nice free spot!!
Report Check-InBEAUTIFUL + SECLUDED. This was definitely one of our favorite spots. Barely anyone out on the beach during the week when we were here and the sand is packed down enough that we had no problems with our 2WD Promaster. Great Verizon reception as well (we also have a booster).
Report Check-InAs described. Great spot! Amazing sunsets. Not too much as far as businesses go in the area but there was a tasty burger joint like 10ish min away. People were smoking inside. Hilarious!
Report Check-InMiles of free beach parking. You can stay for up to 14 days. Garbage cans available, no other amenities. Easy access with 2wd. Excellent t-mobile cell service.
Report Check-Ingreat hard packed beach. tons of room. we're here in late november so that plays a role I'm sure
Report Check-InNice, quiet area. The sheriff drove by & passed some beach guidelines. You can stay 14 days then you have to leave for 30 days then you can come back for another 14 days. A wonderful area to stay as we have solar panels! lots of sun 🌞!
Report Check-Instayed here for one night. beautiful beach, easy access. no problems at all
It is a nice Place. Just some People are fisching around during the Night.
We parked direct at the Beach.
