Description

Picacho park is a paid state park. $20 for one vehicle camping, 10 for day use, and more fees in the image included.

The main road access is from the south, however with some guts and a really good very high clearance 4x4 rig with good turning radius, there are dune buggy trails coming in from the west which are interesting (indian pass rd, and buggy rd 659).

the outpost is the furthest north site in the campground. this one and "4S" have river access, though limited space. you might need 4x4 to get here cos of soft gravel, but not a bad road. call the number listed at the Picacho site for road info.
