Why? By checking in after you’ve visited a place you let others know this place is still functional. You can also add or correct any information.
Similar to others, I arrived too late to ask permission, but it was a peaceful night and it felt safe. I was the only one there. I left around 7:30 am, which was right about the time the employees started moving RVs into the parking lot, so it worked well.
Report Check-InWe arrived late after 11pm. It was late and close to ask for permission. Next day at 6am the stuff started to arrive to work. No one cared about us. We moved to the parking lot ar the other site of the street as they use the bigger parking foe moving the RVs on sale.
quiet uneventful night, this is a decent place, i would recommend it.
Report Check-InNot many options, so I picked this one for a night. Well lit and probably surveilled, yet I still woke up to some young guy trying to steal the bike off the back of my car. (I’m lucky that his muffler was loud and that he pulled up right next to my car.) Yelled at him and he left. First time that’s happened in 50+ days of overlanding. Stayed put until the morning. An employee got there at 7, he also parked right next to me but paid no attention to me before going inside. Otherwise as described.
Report Check-Ingood spot. we arrived late and couldnt call. we were the only ones on a huge lot. felt safe. roadnoise continues but not too much
Report Check-InLot was completely empty when I arrived at sunset. No “no camping” signs. The further into the lot you park the further from the noise of nearby streets.
Report Check-InGreat spot for a night. Level, quiet, Verizon and T-mobile service. We arrived too late to get permission but left early. I would have liked to get the ok to respect their courtesy but it seems like an established spot for an overnight park.
Report Check-InThe location is as previously described. I'm the only one in the lot. I called Camping World to ask if I could stay more than one day and the person I spoke to said, "I don't see why not." The AT&T and Verizon cell signal varied from 1-3 bars after 5pm.
Report Check-InWe also stayed across the street in the Camping World Collision Center parking lot. It was a paved empty lot, lots of light so we felt safe. There was little noise, nice for a night stay!
Report Check-InAs described. Large concrete parking area. Was told we could arrive and leave whenever we wanted. Employees in CW store super-friendly and helpful. Some traffic noise at night from hooligans.
