This place is CLOSED! There were no signs and i though KT this place was too good to be true, and it is. I got a knock on the window. The officer was extremely nice and said he would allow me to stay the night, but that any park in the area closes at dark.
Report Check-InPaved lot with plenty of room. Quiet peaceful night with no hassles. woke up to birds chirping and a nice ocean breeze.
Report Check-InCute little spot with an amazing sunset. Stayed here overnight with no issues. Pretty buggy and the creatures out here were a little noisy outside the van. The sign by the trail says “no camping” but I’m pretty sure they are referring to on the trail. Nobody bothered us and only 2 people came by to watch the sunset at night otherwise not a soul here.
Report Check-InToo many mosquitos and bugs. It is in the swamp so if you’re okay with lots of bugs, then you should be ok.
Report Check-Inno problem, quiet about 200 to 300 feet off the road in a parking lot.
Report Check-InI got booted from this spot at midnight on my second night here by the police. They were nice enough to reccomend the flying J at least. Park at your own risk I guess and see what happens.
Report Check-InVery peaceful. Stayed 3 nights. Went across the road to beach during the day.
Report Check-InGreat spot with picnic tables and a portable toilet. Just down the road from Matanzas Beach with free parking.
Report Check-InBeautiful spot. A few cars came by throughout the night, but they didn’t stop or bother me. I got here just before sundown but I should’ve waited. Seems like it’s a popular place to watch the sunset. There was one other SUV parked overnight.
Report Check-InUnofficial spot in a nice neighborhood. I would guess you could get kicked out, but we did stay a night just fine
Report Check-InLocated in SE Intracoastal Waterway Park. Nice, quiet little spot to spend the night. There's not a whole lot of parking, so probably best for smaller rigs, as a large one would take up most of the spaces. There are a few picnic tables, one under a shelter. I pulled in just after sunset and had a peaceful evening. A sheriff pulled in about 8:30 am, and sat in the lot for a little while, but then left without saying anything. My guess is one night is fine, but they would notice if you stay longer. I wish I had had the time to hike the trail, but needed to move on.
