Description
Right next to Balneario Mariscos which was closed Monday and Tuesday. Has 9 campsites with power, water and tables and bbq. Directly on noisy road. Like Mariscos a public pool. Showers at pool ok and lukewarm, showers and restrooms in change area dirty. We did not use them. Paid 60 Q p/p including entrance to pool . Ok for a night if you come from Pacaya Volcano which by the way is great.

We had no other option for the night (the better option was not open on Tuesday), and about this place we can report only bad things. Very noisy road day and night, loud music from the neighbourhood and barking dogs. Bathroom and showers very, very dirty and without light during the night, pools dirty, dump doesn’t work, the whole area needs renovation. Not a joke: for that all the manager ask for 80 QpP - and he wasn’t friendly if we tried to negotiate.
Report Check-InRun-down swimming park with two pools containing murky water, filthy bathrooms, questionable restaurant. Great camping spot under trees, water tap, electricity and concrete picknick tables. Open this Monday.
Traffic very audible from busy road day and night.
Cheap: GTQ 40 per person.
Report Check-Inok, found water, dumping, electricity, Closed Monday and Tuesday, We arrived on Saturday and leave on Wednesday. That is possible.
