Description

This is a gravel parking lot for a local climbing shop. $6/night. Right outside the Hueco Tanks State Park. We pulled in late and payed at the drop box. Super chill with a bunch of other dirtbags. Perfect for us.

Super chill place. Really friendly owner. Made room for us for the night since the Hueco Tanks park was closed. $6 dry camp. Perfect.

Cool little camp ground with basic necessities. 20 minutes away from East El Paso where you will have access to everything you might need.

Hueco Mountain Hut is a small campground around a local climbing gear store. The camping is in a hard pack dirt lot around the store but has 15x15 groomed spots for tents and a few large spots for vehicles.

We got brought here by the park ranger at hueco tanks after we showed up to the state park after it had closed.

The park attendant was super nice and very helpful. $15 for a night with 30amp outlet in our 30’ class A motor home.

Free Wifi was reliable enough to download a movie. Cell service was okay.

Overall good vibes, good place to stay. In the morning it got busy with climbers coming in.

Basic place to park. $5 gravel lot with assigned spots and a tent space

Didn’t stay here overnight but wanted to update: seems like a more established campground now. They take reservations online. Was full for tonight.
