Description

COP 12,000 per night. Access to shower and toilet. No Hot water. There is a level area outside the main building to park on. They only let us stay one night as they were hosting a cycling event the next day but said usually it wouldn’t have been a problem for us to stay longer. We moved across the road.

Latest Check-Ins

To sum it up: GREAT VIEW, FACILITIES NOT. Very, very cold shower; toilet without seat; none of which clean. We stayed here for one night and enjoyed the view. One star for having facilities, two for the view. Also, wasn’t easy to find a level spot at the camp ground.

We arrived in the afternoon, started our 5h hike from here (Start by crossing the bridge, not like most with the palm tree forest!) We left in the afternoon, to be closer to Cali already. Found a nice spot (La Sirena), which we recommend. It’s only a 45 mins drive and you are already close to the Main Street.

Restaurant wasn't open when we visited but the guard invited us to stay anyway. Very peaceful 2 nights. The town shuts down at night so there is no noise. Great views. Highly recommended to come mid week and not on holidays. Great hikes. If there is no parking here go across the street. Big rigs can park at either location.

Such a peaceful place!! The lady that welcomed us was super nice and offered us coffee and tea. 12000 COP per person per night. We parked on a Flat spot down by the camping area. View on the wax Palm tree. So pretty and quiet!! Very clean bathroom and cold shower. Everything else in town is more expensive and more crowded. Great spot!!!

We don't stay here , the price are very expensive just to park our truck during a night . All of the parking on this village are expensive, the prices of chidren for 1 night is the same of an adult ....

Report Check-In

The parking lot was totally empty, however they did not allow us to camp the night. Apparently our truck (Iveco) was too big. She recommended the other places along the street but it seemed they just dont want any overlanders anymore...
The other places were quite expensive (15000 & 18000 pp) just for parking. We didn't ask for facilities. It seemed like the many tourists have ruined the prices and service... ;)
We recommend to take the short drive back to Salento. La Serena is a great place...

Report Check-In

Camping area very slanted/ uneven. In front of hotel would have been ok.

Report Check-In

The manager did not let us enter as he said that the car park was too muddy and we would not be able to get out anymore. Unfortunately he wouldn't let us camp on the leveled parking upfront. Might be because of the very busy Holy Week.

Report Check-In

A very peaceful spot. No light and no one else. Great to see the palms against the stars. Lots of hummingbirds. 10k COP pppn.

Report Check-In

10,000 pp now with cold shower, no toilet seat and electricity from bathroom.

Report Check-In

Nice place and cheap (7000 pP). The toilet and shower is not very modern. We first checked the other two campings, but this one we like more (cheaper and quiet)

Report Check-In

We stayed here instead of donde Juan. Felt the space was much nicer & more private. It is also cheaper as we paid 7,000 p/p. The camping space isn't the flattest, but the views and peacefulness makes up for it!
