Something not right?

Description

A park next to the coast, just about 30m from the beach. We spotted a few locals camping here, so opted to stay the night. Very busy during the day (high season), surprisingly calm during the night.
There is a bathroom with somewhat clean toilets and outside shower (cold). Many locals swimming in the river nearby.

Great area! Public bathrooms available. Multiple spots to choose from. We stayed a bit further south from this point - away from what seemed to be the main park area. Murky waters, but the beach is very clean. Awoke to a 10k race happening. Nice place to rest after the border crossing from Argentina (:

Lugar muy tranquilo. En oficina de turismo de Carmelo nos comunicaron que sobre el pasto no habría problemas en pernoctar, pero el lugar indicado es pasando la rotonda. Igual pasamos la noche ahí, hasta las 22:00hs aprox, estaba muy ruidoso (motos), pero luego se calmó completamente y se descansó muy bien.

Pasamos la noche en el estacionamiento. Lugar tranquilo sobre la rambla.

We actually stayed a few 100m north west of here on the Plazoleta de los Remeros, there are so many places to choose from! We stayed out of season but it was very quiet, nothing but the sound of waves, clean and apparently toilets nearby but we didn't need to use them. Great stop for the night after the border.

We didnt stay at the exact location but found a flat place, behind the less frequented road.
It was so crowded on a sunday night but nobody left at morning.
No reggaeton problem there, just some motorbikes passing by with noisy exhausts.

Lots of options here, some right by the river and others set back amongst the trees. Banos open all night. Wi-Fi available at the bar (good happy hour caipis too!) Not a quiet night though, no music but crazy motorbike races until past 3am.

Nice camping area under the trees with toilets and a „lets say“ shower (very poor water). I recommend staying in this place but not on weekends like us. There was loud music till 5am but the worst were the „cool“ bikers which were incredibly loud all night long

Muitas pessoas no local.

Very nice and big park near the beach- great for families (shadow and shallow water, sand). Barbecue places, apparently also toiletts and showers (did not check them). We saw a "no acampar" sign, however stood there with 3 other campers and some tents, police and park patrol passed but didn't say a word.

Do not come here during weekends, if you want to sleep - during the day it was fine. From 7pm to 3 in the morning very loud, music and loooads of motocycles driving up and down the road.

There are lots of places to park depending on if you want shade or need sun for your solar. It was a Sunday and we needed to top up our panels so we parked past the bathrooms in an open area. Was busy (lots and lots of motor bikes) till after sunset but emptied out except one small group who laughed and talked till well past 2am. There is small fast food kiosk next to bathrooms that opened around 4pm and closed after 10. Poor cell reception. It was quite warm and there was not much breeze after dark. If you are parked in the treed area might be better. Bathrooms are clean but no seats or TP.

You can park near the sand beach or further where there is grassy spots and picnic tables. We were here on a Monday in the end of April, in the afternoon and evening there was a lot of locals chilling, doing sports, riding motorbikes and listening to loud music, but after the wonderful sunset, the night was surprisingly very very quiet. In the morning some people come to walk and the workers who collect trash (big up to them! Very clean area!) said hello to us. Very nice spot !

quiet place, lots of shade and space for tents, clean toilets, free cold shower, not too many people (even if in high season). nice sandy beaches by the river to swim and look at the sunset
