Nice little town. Stayed exactly at this spot for one night.
We were a bit unlucky, because there was a big party in town so it was very busy and loud at night (on a wednesday:D). But still felt very safe.
Lot of people around next morning too, so also busy but everyone very nice and still felt tranqui.

If you park on the side where the Hostel is, you‘ll have nice shadow in the morning :)

Ah, and the town was not a problem at all for us to drive (with a VW Crafter - like a Mercedes Sprinter).

suchitoto is nothing for bigger rigs, roads are tiny, parking cars everywhere

Spent one night here close to the police station. Quiet and safe. There’s a water tap in the park. Very peaceful place.

We stayed 2 nights. Very quiet, people are curious and very nice. Some fresh air in the evening. Few minutes of the center.

Pretty quiet night at the square. Some cars passed by and some music through the evening but nothing too loud. Felt safe and during the night really quiet. Overall good place to spend a free night in Suchitoto.

Safe, quiet and free place to park/camp. Good restaurant on the opposite side of the park. Police station on the corner. We arrived too late to enter the Centro de Arte para la Paz compound and were directed here. Police were friendly and are used to RVs parking here.

super quiet place. I guess the other comments might be wrong about the location. because it's not the place with the church it's the place with the police at the corner. there is only one little bar around the place that we reported also on ioverlander. there was one concert but not too loud and maybe because it was Friday. its the second time we sleep here. last time was during the WE and it was super quiet. this village is definitely a must do in Salvador. so cute !!!

A very nice place " Casa de la Abuela" wit a very nice owner. Speak English and French. With good food. We stayed next to the church for the night. After we drunk a glass of wine.

Parking around the park. Felt somewhat safe. Can be quiet during the week, on weekends there are two discotheques around: loud music, drunk people.
