someone was already camped in that spot so we stayed a little south of them. same entrance. Have Verizon and it worked. Was still a nice quiet spot. No problem parking 28'RV with cargo trailer. Lots of dirt roads to explore. Will definitely come back!

Perfect pull-outs on well maintained roads. We came through in a sedan with a low clearance bike rack without any issues. We went a couple hundred yards up the road from this marker for even more secluded spots. Beautiful scenery, quiet and peaceful and clean (let's keep it that way!).

Be careful though, as the description for the further spots points out the road gets softer. Very spotty reception a couple hundred yards down.

Fantastic spot. Lots of cool rocks. Not a lot of traffic on a Tuesday night. Great T-Mobile phone service. Let the pets run around. Traffic sound is there but distant.

Good spots all along that Road. Excellent LTE here as the Transmitter is just a quarter mile away. one can hear the Highway at night.

As described in previous posts. Beautiful area. We are in a 26 ft class C and made it in, you just have to drive with caution because there are a lot of dips in the dirt rd. The spot marked in this post is right under power lines so we went in further and found a different spot. Weak but usable ATT and Verizon.

Okay so, this place is awesome. SO remote and quiet, we didn’t see any other campers whatsoever. One truck drove by and then left with a cattle trailer we think. It was pup safe (no cacti in the feet here), and pretty level sandy ground. We would have stayed longer but on day 2 we inexplicably got SWARMED by bees. For hours!!!! We ended up leaving in a hurry to a new BLM because our dog got stung on the tongue while trying to catch them. But that seems more like a random occurrence. Our first day was totally fine and bee free. The weather was cold at night and warm in the afternoon. Stars are unbelievable. ATT service gave me one or two bars, sometimes none.

I recommend going further through the intersection than is marked on the map. straight down w. burro creek. first few miles there are at least three large campsites big enough for rvs and the like before it gets narrow and rougher. the site marked is close to the big power lines and blinking tower. mountain lions in the area. didn't make it the 6 miles in to burro creek, got nervous being alone with no cars about, but looks interesting .

I recommend going further down the road straight through the intersection. it's w burro creek road on google maps. the site marked is close to the huge power lines and blinking tower near the road. there are about three large sites big enough for rvs or the like down this road in first two miles before it starts to get more rugged and and splits off. I did not drive the 6 miles in to burro creek because I got nervous being out all alone with no other cars around, but looks like an interesting destination. the other people camping out here saw two mountain lions.
