Latest Check-Ins

Nice place, good view, central located, but the nights :(

Report Check-In

Stayed here and in another parking lot for 2 nights.. Both nights were super loud- there were guys with really loud cars/motors driving around the whole night, very close to all the campers… probably they want to annoy us.

Better to stay outside the city, if you are a light sleeper.

Report Check-In

We spent a night at almost all the seafront parking lots and this is probably the nicest one, there's grass in front, very nice to chill and just look at the sea and ships, people... Lots of other overlanders. Free toilets in the nearby tourist center, where there are also Ushuaia stamps (free). You definitely need earplugs if you're a light sleeper. Street races happened every single night.

Report Check-In

You can stay here, but the first half of the front row is reserved spaces, so don’t park there. We didn’t sleep here, but we left our camper here for 10 days and had no issues. We were assured by a local friend we made that it’s very safe to park in Ushuaia.

Report Check-In

slept there.
no privacy but OK if you need to be at the harbour early morning. :) can be loud with music and people passing by...

Report Check-In

Report Check-In

Place is definitely NOT closed. We stayed the night and there were many other motorhomes and campervans. No signs anywhere and nobody came to tell us we had to leave. It was perfectly fine for the night

Report Check-In

Estacionamento amplo muito usado por motorhome. Bem tranquilo e central para conhecer a cidade.

Report Check-In

Dormimos duas noites nesse lugar, bem tranquilo.

Report Check-In

Report Check-In

This place is permanently closed.

Report Check-In

we spend a night here. I Police office came to say that it's no posible to park here anymore, he told us some place ability for campervan.

Report Check-In

the police office come to say that it's not longer available

Report Check-In

We spent 5 nights in total here. It is safe and flat. There is a bit of noise from the street but not too much. Very nice views of the Ushuaia bay. All the services are very close.

Report Check-In

We spent three nights here. Very convenient place to stay, walking distance from the main drag and the museum. The visitor centre is close to use the bathrooms.

If you can’t sleep on a noisy street, choose a other location, stop complaining. :-P

Report Check-In

Best spot in our opinion is ushuaia,

Big parking lot and next tot the tourist office for toilets and wifi during normal opening times

Report Check-In

In winter this spot was great- a few sporty cars with loud exhausts cruised by but briefly in the 3 nights we spent. Close to everything! Great views!!

Report Check-In

City parking with a lot of others campers. nearby offices for boat tours and the visitor center (wifi + toilets). Very quiet during the night.

Report Check-In

spent another three nights here, after the Antarctic expedition. Our favorite place in Ushuaia, despite the traffic and the lack of facilities. In good company of many other overlanders. It’s the view of the harbor, the ships, the mountains and the Beagle Channel. Priceless!

Report Check-In

Great place to stay in front of the harbor. When there are cruise ships, you're only allowed to stay overnight as they come and ask you to move to accommodate the buses that need to park here. Overall a good place with a nice view.

Report Check-In

spent 2 mostly quiet nights here, in good company- lots of other overlanders here. No facilities, but great view and free. Shops and restaurants within walking distance.

Report Check-In

Muchos motorhomes y vans estaban aqui. Por eso, nos sentimos en seguridad.

Report Check-In

Nice place to spend the night, we stayed there for 2 nights while visiting Ushuaia. Can be a bit noisy as it is close to the road but it’s ok. It is very close to the harbour, touristic spots, shops and restaurants

Report Check-In

I don't understand people can sleep here. So much traffic noise until very late. Apparently, it's a hobby for some people to make as much noise with their car as they possibly can driving up and down the main street. We left asap. Perfect for day parking and exploring the town though if you can find a spot.

Report Check-In

Passei 30 dias nesse local sem ser incomodado. É ótimo

Report Check-In

Quiet place to sleep, but it's not camping, it's a parking lot. It has a great view of the harbor.

Report Check-In

a bit noisy in the morning but nice place to stay with a camper. very close bij the centre with restaurants and shops. Some places are reserved for authorised vehicles (yellow band) but the rest you may stay. Quite full in november.

Report Check-In

San Martin.

Report Check-In

Report Check-In

ok to stay during low and mid-season.
we did ask the turist police (not tourist information) and they told us that is ok.
very good place to stay and walk around the city.

Report Check-In

Good place to spend the night. Super safe, close to downtown. There are restrooms and wi-fi at the tourist information centre. Showers at the ypf at the entrance to the city to $50 pesos argentinos. We spent many nights here.

Report Check-In

Report Check-In

estacionamiento frente al muelle. tranquilo.

Report Check-In

We stood here for 3 nights, than we left with the car and came back a couple of days later for another night, but the Municipalidad sticked a paper on our windshield that since 26th of January motorhomes are allowed for six hours only on that parkinglot. We still saw some travelers parking overnight but much less than before.

Report Check-In

Very nice place, especially if you can park facing the harbor to see the mountains and watch the boats. No facilities. You can use the toilet at the Tourist Center when it is open, approximately 0800 - 2000. Wifi at the Tourist Center but we were not able to pick it up. Some traffic noise at all times. Free. Secure: police patrolling frequently.

Report Check-In

Ótimo lugar para ficar alguns dias. Muitos Motorhomes ao redor.

Report Check-In

Good to stay for 1-2 nights, close to the center. Yes, noise from the street, but for us okay.

Report Check-In

A good place to spend the nights, close to the center, near the port. A little noise at night, but Ok. Toilets just in the tourist center. No facilities.

Report Check-In

Report Check-In

Noisy and crammed, but great spot to meet other overlanders. However, I have seen people parking their rig as long as a bus which blocks half of the way, dropping their camp trailer or peeing between cars at night...This is a parking lot for the touristic attractions around, not a campground. The city has been incredibly tolerant, but please behave yourself before they add No Overnight signs.

Report Check-In

Nice view over the sea. A lot of movement, noise and traffic. Day and night. Especially during high season and weekends.

Toilets and WiFi available at the tourist information.
Open from 9am to 6pm i think.

@Explorersouls

Report Check-In

Report Check-In

Stayed one night.
Nice view and pretty quiet for us at night.
No facilities at night but Tourism office open from 9 to 29/20 every day for toilets, wifi and charge electronic.
Very close to the city center.

Report Check-In

Very loud with locals Reving engines, racing and playing loud music, drinking it of the back of their car until 4am. Would not recommend.

Report Check-In

We stayed here a few nights before our Antarctic cruise and left rig here for 12 days during it. No issues. Used wifi from Isabela restaurant. Good cell reception too. Best to show up around 5 to get a spot.

Report Check-In

No space in the lot mid afternoon so we parked on the street. Would not recommend as it's noisy. Should have moved into lot in evening.

Report Check-In

The lot was full all day so we parked on the left side of the street that you take to leave the lot. Busy noisy traffic till about 11 and stars again at 7 so one night was enough. No wind when we were there though, just rain.

Report Check-In

Great spot- close to wifi and bathrooms at Visitor Information Center and close to museums. Laundry and grocery store 4 blocks away. Pretty quiet. Very full during the day. Come in the evening to be sure of a spot. We got a spot on the row next to the water at 3:30 on a Sunday but it was pretty full then.

Report Check-In

Good place to stay one night. Direcly in the city and near to everything;-)

Report Check-In

Good overnight parking. Of corse some noise you are in a town centre. Good views to channel, free!

Report Check-In

Perto do centro. Bom lugar, muitos viajantes param aqui.

Report Check-In

This is where most overlanders seem to spend the night. Good for meeting other travellers, not so good for sleeping - many noisy trucks pulling in at night. (wifi from Isobel restaurant across the street - have a meal there and ask them for the password)

Report Check-In

Good for a night. No toilets nearby. Nice view. Bit noisy at night.

Report Check-In

Nice place with a view on the boats leaving for antártica, and good place to meet other travellers.

Report Check-In

Good spot with a great view on the Beagle Canal

Report Check-In

Report Check-In

Nice. Bathrooms available at the information centre. Saturday night got a bit noisy when the bars closed, but no one bothered us.

Report Check-In

Convenient parking lot for wild camping downtown, busy during the day, pretty quiet at night. No facilities, good view of the bay and harbour.

Report Check-In

Noise, no shelter from the wind...but it's worthy for the view ;)
