Pretty ghetto camping spot. Several campers, some who look like their more or less moved in. Water smells like sewage. On the other hand there are lots of birds including White Pelicans. We came here to seek refuge from high winds and surf at Padre Island NS.
Report Check-InIt can be a little loud until around 9:00 or 10:00, but for the most part it's a good place to park. mostly for 20 ft and under. However I did see a bus there that was parked comfortably. Make sure you got goodwills. It is concrete and gravel as well as dirt. If it's really rainy, you want to make sure you have whatever you think you need to not get stuck or get unstuck in the mud. underneath the freeway is super loud.
Report Check-Innice place. some Cement parking. seems peaceful. little road noise but not bag
Report Check-InNice place to boondock. A little noise from the road but not bad. No services. Tmobile has good reception.
Report Check-InWe stayed on the paved side and had no issues. Traffic noise isn't as bad as you'd think. Verizon reception is good! It's definitely not the nicest spot but it works!
Report Check-InAs described, stayed 6 nights, no issues at all for me. I did see a van drive into an innocent looking puddle, bottomed out and had to be pulled out by friend. My lesson… unless you know the terrain… a puddle can be a cement trough, deeper than I think. I will stay here in the future.
Report Check-InGreat place by the water. There is a bit of road noise but otherwise peaceful.
Report Check-InSlept here right under the bridge Dec 3 2021, had a great night, a bit noisy and smells death fish but all good.
Report Check-InFishing is best on the north side while birdwatching is best on the south side. Please remove some litter while you are there.
Report Check-Instayed here 3 nights here in a 26 ft RV great spot by the water I stayed on paved side. Great signal tmobile. the police patrol daily but don't bother you... just don't stay longer than 3 days. lots of trash so please clean up after yourself.... this is a popular fishing spot under a bridge so it's a busy area but that didn't bother me. loved watching the pelicans flock and eat together.
