Something not right?

Description

Free parking along W. Stewart Parkway. Pleasant area right along side the river, with a nice breeze off the water. No signs forbidding overnight parking. Spent a very peaceful night with no problems.
I was in a purple 26 ft motorhome.

Great place for a quiet night. Exactly as described. We walked to town for dinner. Heated restrooms.
We are in an unmarked van so hopefully we blended right in. View from my van this morning.

Staying here tonight. Looks great! A block from shop and restaurants.

The nicest people I have ever encountered! Great restaurants and a lovely waterfront view.

This is my hometown and everyone is right - it is a beautiful and legal safe spot with gorgeous sunsets and good restaurants and friendly folks. Pull in!

Stopped by almost 3 years to the date I stumbled upon this quaint little town, and posted it here. Still the friendly place I remember. Main Street Scoops serves delicious ice cream. I highly recommend the dark chocolate raspberry. Slept very peacefully!

Stayed here 1 night. There are plenty of parallel spots that line the marina as well as regular lot parking. There is a brewery right next to the area that overlooked the water - highly suggest. We felt very safe here and woke up to boats in the marina!

This is our second time here. the last time was two weeks ago. It's really a very nice place to stay. We can only recommend.

I spent a very quiet weekend here. Nice little town with shopping and a beautiful boardwalk along the water. Walmart nearby.

Was a beautiful spot in a lovely town. Police and fire were right next to me to celebrate 9/11 and no one bothered me.

Super endroit pour passer la nuit. Nous nous sommes stationnés le long de la promenade et personne n’est venu nous déranger. Bonus, le wifi de la ville est gratuit et assez puissant pour un bon film sur Netflix.

See previous description!
It’s a delightful town. Very bike friendly but just don’t ride on the riverside walkway. It’s not allowed.

We set up a little further down along the water on Water St. It was quieter there and there was a nice green space with picnic tables and 2 gazebos. The friendly guy on the golf cart( Pete) gave us some tips on restaurants and then generously gave us the code for the showers for the boaters!
We stayed 2 nights and loved this cute little town. Try Mesa Restaurant if you are itching for some good Mexican. Avoid the margaritas though as they are made with a mix that is way too sweet.

Nice spot to be. It’s loud and busy during the day, at around 8 is quiets down, I was here on a Monday. There are bathrooms but they are locked at a certain time. A few port-a-potties in the parking lot. Beautiful sunset and sunrise. I asked the woman at the visitor Center about overnight parking and she said it wasn’t a problem.

Stayed here for one night in a 24 ft RV. Got in just before sunset and sat on the visitor center porch rocking chairs to watch the sunset over the water. There also are a few swing chairs and a little free library in this park. I was able to reach the public wifi where I was and it was pretty fast. Police were patroling all night but they didn't stop to ask or tell me to leave so it must be okay. I was here with another camper van. On the map there are two public bathrooms a couple blocks away from this park, not sure if they are open or what there hours are.

we had an overnight stay here. I confirmed with a very nice police officer that it was ok. It was quite and restful with no issues. We stayed here in a motorhome and towing our jeep.
