Three camp sites with fire rings down a narrow path from a pullout of the main road, right next to Big Pipestone Creek, near the dam. These are likely supposed to be walk-up tent sites, but it’s possible to get a small vehicle (minivan at most) through if you’re very very careful. Easy creek access from the third campsite. Be careful, we ran into a moose while wandering down by the creek!
Why? By checking in after you’ve visited a place you let others know this place is still functional. You can also add or correct any information.
If you have anything bigger then a bicycle - don't consider that spot.
There is a dozen of other spots along the main road coming into this area - take one of these, they are all easy accessible with any size 2WD vehicle, some even have pit toilets from the NFS.
