a nice spot!! 7:45pm midweek there are currently 8 different “groups” camped (one looks quite “permanent”). there are about 6 spots closer to the gentle creek/under trees, the other unofficial spots are exposed to sun. we arrived around 5:30pm and grabbed a nice designated spot. forested and cooler in temperature. i can see the spots being muddy if it rains. the road wasn’t the smoothest, but fully doable with a 2WD van as long as you take it slow. spotty at&t. no pit toilet.

Really secluded and quiet spot next to a lovely stream. Take the road in slowly due to potholes. I didn’t have any problems with a Volkswagen jetta. Places to park are a bit muddy from the rain but the area is nice.

Stayed here one night, was absolutely lovely. It had rained all day so we were worried about the road being too muddy, but it was not bad at all. If you notice a creek crossing on your map on your way in, don’t worry, it’s a covered crossing, you don’t have to wade through the creek. Tons of bear signs all over as other noted, but no bear sightings. Very pleasant stay!

great place with enough space for several campers or group camping. Great wildflowers. can be windy. pack it out if you bring it in.

Nice spot, not terribly busy on a September Monday night but took a spot off the gravel road across from the main grass lot. Mix of Class C motor homes, trailers, and vans here.

great little spot 15 minutes from west yellowstone. stayed in the tree coverage area because there were a bunch of big rigs in the main camping area. about 4 or 5 spots here. nice view, good service

Report Check-In

This spot is lovely - quiet, with the peaceful sound of the creek in the background. We chose site 4 on the recommendation of other campers who were leaving, but it was very difficult to find any kind of level spot, even with our leveling blocks. The other sites looked like they might have been more level. The only other negative was the sheer magnitude of the insect army we encountered.

Wonderful cluster of campsites! Free designated spots with fire ring at each. Right along the creek. T-mobile service strong enough for FaceTime. No toilets - pack it in pack it out. All the campsites were filled and some vans parked on the other side of the gravel road along the hillside

Quite a few places to park. Beautiful spot near a creek which was peaceful to listen to!

limited space, not every spot is suited for huge rigs. signs posted to stay 30 ft from river bank.

we didn't reach the place as 1 mile before we got stuck in the snow and icy road. Now waiting if someone can help us and tow us out. By the time writing this its 6pm and it started snowing. so do check the weather and don't be as stupid as this 2 Dutchies and drive into a frozen road at the end of the day. got towed out for 100$. means boondocking for a long time

Beautiful spot here, just next to the river. Fire ring and very quiet.
We stayed 2 nights here

Great area tucked away near west Yellowstone. Quiet and large spots. We pulled into site four and it’s away from everything, right next to the creek. Stone fire pit and nice trail to walk the dogs on. Pack it in, pack it out. Bear country!
Road up wasn’t bad at all. We’re in a 170 sprinter and there were a few airstreams/ other trailers up here. Road has some bumps but doable in any vehicle. Just take it a little slow.
Very little service. 1-2 bars maybe with t mobile and Verizon. We threw up our signal extender and we’re able to get enough to stream, so if you have that you could work here too.

Report Check-In

Still open, great spot with Verizon service, but stream restoration in progress so no camping within 30’ of stream. So camp spots are a little moved over from where they were previously right on water. Slightly sloped in some areas but overall really great spot.

Report Check-In

A few smaller spots for single rigs and a larger area that others are sharing. Next to a small creek. Verizon 2 bars LTE. Beautiful spot! Would def stay here again!

Free spot on BLM land minutes from west Yellowstone.

Great place to camp, next to a creek, there are spots for tents and big area for parking for big rigs or vans. No 4x4 needed, 10 minutes from town.

Buen lugar para acampar, este lugar está al lado de un riachuelo. Hay espacio para poner tiendas de acampar y suficiente espacio para vans. No es necesario 4x4 y está a 10 minutos del pueblo.
