Great open area. Fairly flat ground and a fire pit already established. It is just off the secondary road where we still heard some traffic, but none here. Felt very safe and it had minimal road noise from the highway.

Perfect for a night before or after Lassen NP, approx. 5 miles from park. Cozy in the pines and fire pit already there!
Report Check-InPerfect for a night before or after Lassen NP; just a few miles from entrance. Tucked into the pines….. Lots of other spots along Mineral Rd.
Report Check-Inbel endroit pas niveler mais très tranquille on peut même se promener aux alentours
Report Check-InSpent a night in the pines, skeeters aplenty, ground fairly level
Report Check-InAs described. Just checking in to update. It was open and clear of snow. Minimal bugs or mosquitoes probably because it still drops under 50f at night.
T-Mobile 0-1 bar. More often 0
Report Check-InFantastic spot, exactly as described, but one back-breaking weakness: bees. So many bees. Angry bees, too -- I managed to set up my tent before they decided to intimidate me into leaving. I've never had a harder time trying to break my tent down. If you come here in the summer be very cautious.
Report Check-InNice spot very quiet!
could fit in 2 travel trailers 13 ft and 16 ft
saw no one during our stay
amazing stars at night
would stay here again
Great quiet spot along dirt road. Made it back here in my 20 ft short Skoolie with no problem. I would not recommend comino back in anything larger than 30 feet to be able to turn around.
1-2 bars T-Mobile. Not enough to get any work done, but enough to make a phone call and send text messages.
Report Check-InThis spot is really beautiful, to came here its an unpaved road, so not sure if it's accessible when it's wet. We were alone, firepit but you need a permit, very big spot to fit 2 or 3 small vehicles. No t-mobile signal at all. Just us and the woods!

The spot itself was taken when I got there, but there was another spot on the way I got to park at overnight, and it was just as great :) no fire pit though.
Report Check-InGreat spot on logging roads. As described with a fire pit. It was snow covered when I arrived. No visible trash. Far from the road and only once an hour heard a distant truck. A couple gunshots rang out at New Years in the distance at midnight.
1-2 bars of Sprint/T-Mobile service.
Report Check-InUse the more eastern way into this place off the highway. The more western road in is a difficult 4x4 high clearance rd. The site itself is really nice. Flat and secluded in the pines and was a great spot for stargazing.
Report Check-In5 minute drive to manzanita lake entrance of Lassen right off the 44 and 89. Super safe and quiet, we stayed for 2 nights. 1 person drove in at night but turned back around when he saw that we were already set up
Please keep this place clean
Great open area. Fairly flat ground and a fire pit already established. It is just off the secondary road where we still heard some traffic, but none here. Felt very safe and it had minimal road noise from the highway. We had 2 bars of LTE with AT&T.
