Report Check-InThe first and (according to the ranger) most important information we received at the information centre was, that overnight stays on Peninsula Valdes are only allowed in Puerto Piramides. All other sites are against the rules.
Report Check-InGreat place at the beach and the semiofficial place to wildcamp on the island. Quite windy but absolutely nice view!
Report Check-InGreat whale watching. Quiet at night. Saw a police patrol once per day or less. Clean. A few local cars drop in during the day and stay on or around the beach. Great! And supported by the Valdes park as an overnight location for campers.
Report Check-InLong flat beach with an amazing view over the Gulf. We had no wind and got he chance to see a whale and an orca! If you walk towards the East, there's a huge beach and many creeks to swim. Great place to fish too!
Report Check-InNice but very windy spot for free camping on the peninsula. In the information center it’s written that camping is only allowed on the official campground but here are a lot of other campers parked and nobody seems to be disturbed.
Report Check-InWonderful camping spot over looking the gulf, as we arrived it was high tide and a large Southern Right Whale was cruising about 50m off shore. We walked out to the old light house and saw 10 mother/calf over an hour period some very close to the headland. It was a holiday weekend and 6 caravans and 2 campers all well spaced out and quiet.
Report Check-InWe park about 300m after this spot. On beach is a lot wild campings palces. Everywhere is an amazing view to sea, clean beach. Just lot windy weather from 10 pm till noon. Good for motorhomes, tent can't recommended.
Report Check-InWild camp at the beach recommended by the Peninsula Valdez information office. Solid ground, low bushes, great view over the sea.
