Wild camping by the river, couple hundred meters away from main highway and noise. Saw couple otters playing in the river while there.
Comment 10/2017: Someone seemed to be staying for an extended time here. They are parked near the end. It was VERY difficult to back up in a B+ RV. The entryway is rather long too. So don't drive in until you walk in to check it out.
As of 3/2018: "NO CAMPING" signs have been posted.
Why? By checking in after you’ve visited a place you let others know this place is still functional. You can also add or correct any information.
As of March 2018, it is illegal to camp here – I did it anyway but there was a “No Camping” sign on the drive in. It’s a narrow dirt road with low hanging branches and a small turnaround so definitely not suitable for any kind of big rig. I stayed in my 25’ truck camper and it was okay but I did snag some of the branches above. The site is easily viewed from the road so if you are going to stay here, be sure to arrive after dark and leave early. No cell service and unlevel land – would not stay here again.
Report Check-InNuit tranquille au bord de la rivière. Aperçu toute une famille de loutres. Bon plan.
Report Check-InThere is a bit of human trash here. And someone groomed a hairy dog. But the area is pretty. The river tides are good entertainment. There is a bald eagle circling and two piles of bear poop.
