Description
Nice, well established lodge just south of Karonga. We were allowed to camp on the beach and they gave us one of the rooms for ablution since it was quite (during COVID restrictions). Shaded grass areas also available. USD10 pppn (kids under 12 half-price). Nice big swimming pool with bar on the beach. Very safe and on-site security provided.

Lovely. place. We stayed on the beach. They gave us a chalet to use for a toilet and shower. It was not worth it for the price you pay. but It has a bath with a shower head and it onely one small stream running from it. I must admit it is not really prepared as a camping site
Report Check-InWatch out, they wanted to trick us multiple times! The price per night was horrendous (they wanted 40000MK pppn, we got it down to 30000). Other campers paid 35000 for two nights, so they just make up prices as they want.
A few minutes after paying, they came and said they recounted and it was 2000 too less. Even if they checked the amount in front of our eyes before. Other campers were said, they only paid for one night even if two nights were paid.
Make sure you get a receipt right away where you see how much and what for you paid!
Rest as mentioned before (campsite at the beach, abolutions in a room).
We arrived here after dark and were greeted warmly by all the staff. Camping is right on the beach and we were given a key to a room to use for ablutions. No noise from the bar (it was a Monday) and very quiet overnight. We were happy to have found this place!
Report Check-InSpace for 3-4 campers by the road or a grassy area. Nice pool and beach bar with (at least at weekends) loud music. Restaurant not recommended. 15000 MK ppN is too expensive for what is offered!!!!
Report Check-InThis is actually a Hotel - not a camping place. By goodwill of Management only 1 camping stand on grass, no shade no water no electricity @ MK15,000 pppn. Can use open Chalet for ablutions if available.

Report Check-InPrice is now K15000pppn or $15 for camping, with use of the poolside ablutions. Campsite grass area has no shade so we decided to move on to Floja, which was a good decision.

Business type lodge. We got a discount because we didn’t book in advance. 45$ for a room for 2 people including breakfast.
Rooms are clean, have airconditioning and hot (low pressure) showers.
It’s was a good place after crossing the border from Tanzania. But don’t go out of your way to come here, nothing special.
I think they changed the pricing policy. Wanted to charge us K45000 for 2 adults and 3 kids under 10. So we kindly said thank you and turned around .
