nice spot to spend a work day. good starlink. participated in an inpromptu trash cleanup with other gringos. families come in and out to enjoy the lake. watch for stray dogs and grazing cattle.

The entrance was closed with some small wooden stick. We removed it to access the lakefront. A lot of trash. Nice and calm night. Few local walking. Beautiful view.

We spent a few nights here and loved it! Beautiful views of lake Chapala, and close to the malecon. Cows came to visit and do some grazing with was fun to see. We asked a few locals if it was ok if we parked here and they said yea no problem at all. We met lots of really friendly locals walking by.

Very convenient spot near the gorgeous malecon where you can look at the sunset and sunrise. Be carefull where you put your feet because this is the grazing field of cows and horses (lots of poops). They come everyday. Lots of pedestrians pass by to walk there dogs, do jogging or go to the sport field. Some people park to enjoy the place. It can be very crowded with families on week-ends but no party while we were there. We stayed 3 days and we loved it. You can also park on the street near the soccer field: it was nearly empty.

We loved our camping spot here! Very peaceful with a lakeside view, parked on grass. Spent 3 nights during Christmas and no one said anything about it. We had a few friendly locals and tourists come up interested in our van setup. Very quiet at night. Just beside a nice boardwalk.

Small place very quiet, peaceful, we are good there, stayed 3 nights. there are horses, a football stadium with toilets but sometimes closed, there are also outdoor toilets and showers on site but locked, you have to ask to use them and pay $10, we didn't have it done we have our shower.
Access on the malecon side is very narrow but ok for a van, if you are wider go through the entrance closer to the stadium. there is a big tree to have a place in the shade.
Enjoy and keep clean!

Small rig and 4x4 friendly !
We had such an hard time to go there with our truck camper but we made it. See image attached the road that we took, we had to find the less narrow roads which was very difficult.
If you made it, it’s great ! Very quite, view on the lake and during the weekend some toilets and outside shower available for few pesos.

Good 4G telcel

Quiet, free spot under a tree with a fire pit and lake views. A few more communal spots just a few meters down the road (marked as closed on the app but only because the street next to it is a dead end). The showers are currently shut off and the bathrooms are padlocked.
