This place is on the road that leads to Postill Lake Rec. Site. This is the only good place on this road. It is a big opening in between some trees. Very low traffic during day and very quite during night. The only downside is that there is some garbage around. The road is well maintained, no potholes and there is a 3 bars of (LTE) coverage.

Beautiful place with several pullouts along the road, in case some are already taken.
Unfortunately there were many shooters all the way up the hill. They did shooting practice and because of that I felt a little uncomfortable. The road is bumpy with tons of potholes, but I think a 2WD will make it.

Nice, quiet pull out on the way to Postill Lake. Cell reception and a nice waterfall. Stopped here because the road into the rec site was way too rough.
Report Check-Instayed for one night, lots of garbage around, and many pick up trucks, ATV and dirt bikes til around 9pm even on a weekday. otherwise not too bad...easily accessible.
Report Check-InThere are many roadside options with fire rings for camping up this road, but this is the only one where its possible to get right off the road and down to the riverside if you have a small, high-clearance vehicle. If your vehicle can't make it down to the Riverside area, you can still park-up in the large roadside area and walk the short distance to the water. Sadly a lot of rubbish around, but it was a nice spot once we had cleared the area of several bags of rubbish! No facilities. Free.
