We came to explore the other pins and while they would have worked, we really wanted Internet. We made it up the hill with a high clearance van and 4WD was not necessary. It’ll shake you up a bit, but passable. This spot is private, backs up to the canyon, and has a fire ring. Two bars of service on ATT.
Why? By checking in after you’ve visited a place you let others know this place is still functional. You can also add or correct any information.
Not closed, you just have to be back far enough from the highway. Made it up the hill in 2wd with no problems. I could see it being an issue if it's wet.
Report Check-InStayed here for a night and it was beautiful! great backdrop, fire pit and quiet. lots of other folks camping along the road at other sites as well. lots of sites along the road, just no camping within 0.5mi of the freeway and must stay in previously used dispersed sites.
Report Check-InThis place is pretty cool. Dispersed camping all along the dirt roads. Clean spots of many sizes and beautiful views all around. Easy to get to get off the highway. Rocky and bumpy roads for sure but doable
Report Check-InThere were other campers here but we had a secluded spot. There’s fire rings at most of the sites. It’s a dirt & it had just been grated. There were RV’s, tents, and pull behind campers among us. Beautiful view!
Report Check-Invery bumpy place after rain or snow, lots of campers with generator, we do not stay, but place is well hidden from highway
Report Check-InStayed a bit further up the road on a small camp site. Very secluded but rough road to get up. Would definitely recommend 4wd or at least high clearance
Report Check-InStayed three nights here because we were exhausted from looking for spots to boondocks in Moab. Decent spot, level if you park at an angle, nice large firepit, full bars on Verizon with we boost. Road gets a little rough in spots but passable in 2wd. Great views, but also can be windy.
Spot is close to the road so there will be spurts of motorcycles, side by sides and jeeps during the day running up and down. Traffic in the evening from other nomads looking for a place to camp. We had traffic on the road every night until at least 11pm.
There is another spot a bit further up from this one which is larger but more unlevel and another large group spot after the switchback.
Report Check-Ineasy to get to in our sprinter. nice and quiet. off season, so lots of open spots.
it won't let me change it to a 5 star rating. weird. lol
nice and quiet. easy to get to in our sprinter.
we are here in the off season and only saw a couple other campers on the way in. lots of spots open in this area.
we did have a fire ring at our spot. no pit toilets or services.
