Latest Check-Ins

Had a peaceful & quiet night at this location. No other vehicles with us tonight.

Report Check-In

Excellent quiet spot! There are a couple pull-outs along this road; we saw just one other vehicle -stayed here two nights passing through each way. Beautiful stargazing when not raining! Highly recommend.

Pretty spot. I attempted to access from the east on exit 292 but there was a gate. Had to drive west of the site to exit 282 and follow the national guard signs on the frontage road as mentioned below. The proximity to the prison was a little creepy, but I would have stayed later if I wasn’t in a rush. Nice secluded spot otherwise for a slow morning boot up.

This place was absolutely perfect for what we needed. Plenty a room for vehicles. The I80 can be heard but it’s like a white noise. If you need complete silence, you might not be happy. Just know you’re right off the I 80 this is a prime spot for getting a flat nights sleep, and people might roll in throughout the evening. Right along the river. See pictures.

Report Check-In

As described, one other vehicle/tent in the area. Quiet dark place.

Report Check-In

This place was perfect! 4 miles off I80, flat space. We arrived late at night but the view in the morning was beautiful!!

Report Check-In

Been a year so I’ll check in. Great view of the river and rocks. Spacious pull off. 1 bar LTE on AT&T. SO many crickets and flying bugs.

Report Check-In

Pretty space off the highway. Decent traffic and road noise, definitely not very secluded. Great area in the summer for shade and wind to stay cool-ish. PLEASE NOTE: if you want to get on 80-E, you need to go back onto 80-W and turn around. The 80-E signs all lead to dead ends or turn into bike paths only. Super odd! Highly recommend just going out the way you came in.

Report Check-In

Great quiet pull off. One van parked when we arrived around midnight. Highway can be heard but the noise is minimal. In the morning I would recommend ear plugs for the geese hanging up in the rocks above the pull out.
