Very nice campsite and friendly host. The host took us to some nice rapid pools for a swim. The campsite is 5 star and ablutions are fantastic with hot water. Firewood supplied daily,. Will be a sad if the prices increases drastically as this is very nice. Electricity is available from Solar farm. We took the option for a sundowner boat cruise on the river which was amazing. Hippos and crocodiles are right next to your campsite at the river banks. 10/10 would visit again.
Report Check-InNice place, but now overpriced at 35$ pppn. Friendly staff. Bongololo is better value.
Report Check-InVery nice campsite, friendly owner, 25 pppn. Riverside camps, own lapa, electricity, great ablutions best shower ever. Highly recommended!
Lodge and restaurant are still under construction.
What a lush place to be. Excellent ablutions that would fit in even the most luxurious resorts. Most sites have a small beach on the river (depending on water level). Ismaël is a great host that will make your visit complete.
25usd pppn.
What a great find inside the park.$25pppn
Ishmael was a great host and went out of his way to check in with all campers.
New clean and tidy campsite. We’ll run with fresh borehole water. Lapa at each site and well considered ablutions
Definitely recommended
A great site with excellent facilities managed by Ismail who is super helpful with lots of game in the camp.
Report Check-InThe 37 km track through the park is a delight, but you need 4x4. This part of the park is thick woodland, so you won't see much except trees. The campsite is a grassy area next to the Kafue River. It is not especially attractive. The views of the river are limited but very pleasant. The toilets and showers are immaculate and there is always hot water. The staff are very friendly and helpful and make a fire in the evening for each site. Otherwise there are no facilities. You are on your own. I paid US$30 SADC rate. The tap water is from the river, but I think it is safe.
Report Check-InSuperior camping in the bush. Abulutions are the best I have seen after more than 400 nights in south and east Africa travels so far. Nice shelters in each site with electric and bole hole water. Lights in shelter also. Price is now $25 pppn. $10 of that price goes to park
