Nice family, tasty food, was allowed to stay in their yard for one night, no charge, gave them a sizeable tip for the food instead , was not told about toilet/couldn't see any toilet, good cell signal, Little bit noise from highway, friendly dog and not so friendly other dog I was told but he stays away and is shy, rooster crowing in morning

Delicious food, homemade tortillas, cheese and their beef. We were permitted to stay in our RV in fenced yard. Traffic noise all night, and dog barked a couple of times, we think because the tenters perhaps got up to use the toilet. The friendliest family, so nice stay.

very friendly owners. They close around 17/18h. but want to make diner for our 2 familys. we can stay for the night. there is a toilet to use.

Nice restaurant that will let you sleep overnight on the property. The owner is Salvador and his grandson Rene helps in the restaurant. It's secure and has restrooms.

Might I add.... they didn’t want a single peso from us but we insisted and kicked them 300 pesos Salvador didn’t want to take it but we felt right supporting the kindness they show for the nomadic world !

Wow y’all just the sweetest family. We were trying to get to La Paz from Bahia de conception but got here around 7:45pm just before sun down and decided to stop. So happy we did! Salvador is the grandfather and a very sweet kind man I’m not sure if it was the mask but his Spanish is a bit difficult to understand I’m pretty fluent, none the less he signaled where we could park our 28ft rv for the night and brought coffee in the morning. Locked the gate as others said too so it felt super safe. Dogs were friendly, didn’t bark much at all, one was tied up to a tree and he said that one bites so to not park next to that tree. Woke up to roosters, the little kiddos playing and as we left in the morning all three generations of the family were sending us off (melted from cuteness)! wear masks around them I was talking to Salvador in the morning and he expressed how careful he and his family are because of the danger of the pandemic, respect the boundaries. Must stay here if you need a spot before or after La Paz 5 stars. Also some Telcel service too!

Three of us vanlifers spent the night here. The family is very generous to let people stay the night. Please buy/tip if you can. Warning for dog owners. They do have 3 dogs, when our friend let her dog out to use the restroom the golden one attacked and gave her some deep puncture wounds. This of course was not the owners fault but they must have seen it happen because they proceeded to tie up the pups for the night. They close the gate at night so we felt pretty safe.

Forgot to add, there is service here. Got about 2-3 bars of telcel /at&t

We arrived just after dark. Restaurant is closed for covid, but food and snacks are still available through a window. After some broken Spanish on our part they kindle opened the gates and let us camp for the night. Bathrooms are available, even though they look fenced off, and flushed with a bucket of water - hurricane style. Be sure to get a couple burritos and a coffee before you head out in the morning and give them some extra pesos if you can since they don’t charge anything for camping!

3 dogs on the property, one is tied up. All crazy barkers. We have 2 dogs of our own so that could be why? Every 10 minutes tops until we went to sleep they would run barking around the van. Same if we got out for any reason. But never actually approached. If you moved towards the two smaller they immediately leapt back. German Shepard seemed the least concerned with us.

Sweet dogs, we asked the owners if we could park here for the night, they said no problem. Be aware of fly’s, there are lots. And it’s pretty windy at the top of the hill, so park a little down.

Nice, clean, lots of space to park. Friendly 3 generation family. Good breakfast, including Burritos Machaca. Camping included with dinner / breakfast. Clean bucket-flush bathrooms. Highly recommended.

Very friendly people, we had dinner here then ask to stay for the night, absolutely no hesitation from the owners, we left a nice tip to show our appreciation..... the owners did not expect a tip which made it even more special

This a blue and pink stops color building. Nice cafe and they sell snacks and chips.
They serve beer here also. We had the Machaca and a quesadilla. The name is Inn Augustine

We stayed one night on our way from San Jose del Cabo to Loreto, on motorcycles. As others have said - lovely family, very friendly dogs, we were very happy to stay here. But you are sharing the backyard with dogs and chickens - watch where you step, and where you setup your tent. It is close to the road, but we use earplugs and it was no problem. Had dinner and breakfast in the restaurant and enjoyed interacting with the family, despite our poor Spanish. They said camping was gratis, but we left them $200 pesos in an envelope with a thank you note. Rating is based on the overall cultural/social experience and in context of what it is: The friendliness of the people made this basic utilitarian roadside stay into something memorable.

KM 77...not 98. Perhaps restaurant at km98 does this as well? Really didn’t want to arrive in La Paz late. They said they usually visited by bikers who set up a tent. We ate dinner here and had a nice conversation with the woman during and after. They close their doors around 5-5:30 because it’s not safe. They let us sleep in the gate behind an open garage. Can take a short hike up the hill behind them or across the road to see sunset.

Truck traffic noise was pretty bad as they downshift going down the nearby hill...
