We found this little gem down a gravel road. There is an abandoned house here with plenty of shelter and graffiti. Water access right on the grass beach and nice views.

Stayed here for 2 nights. I put my tent inside of hotel, in the second floor... A little bit scary at night, but nothing's happened. There was some people hanging out next to the beach in the first night, but they leave at 00h...
Report Check-InGreat camping spot with amazing views of the lake and surrounding mountains. When we got there, another van was already there and sadly had no intention to move in order to share the spot. However, some 30-ish meters before this spot there's a footpath going into the reeds which leads to a small grassy beach where views are actually even better! We parked in backwards by the side of the dirt road (a small vehicle/van fits here) and set up our table on the beach. You can confirm the location by the presence of a turquoise-orange graffitied pole with Francis Drake's words 'Sic Parvis Magna' on it.
Report Check-InVery nice place, great views. Currently, in high season, it seems like some young people hang out here as well, but not very disturbing.
Report Check-InNice spot by a lovely lake and an abandoned hostel full of cool graffiti. Spent two peaceful nights here. For me it was the best free wild camp in the Bariloche area.
Report Check-InWe stayed today here with our big rig. Super view. Abandoned hotel in terrible conditions.
Report Check-InLoved this place. Camped down on the grass. Amazing view. You could even park inside when it's raining. Good 4G. Don't worry about the locals, this is a popular spot and there will always be people around exploring the ruins, but they are all friendly. Spent 2 days here.
Report Check-InReally beautiful sunset over the lake and not windy if you park on the upper lane but no sun in the morning and you can hear the cars from the street.
Report Check-Init was sunday afternoon .stayed around a while.some young guys came out of the abandoned(slightly creepy) hotel and left.there was others hanging out in the lower buildings too.probably harmless smokers(?) but I wouldnt pitch a tent .didnt stay with camper either
Report Check-Inwhat a fantastic place. spent a few nights here. during the day, people pop by to chill by the lake. during the night, we were alone. felt safe and people were friendly. the abandoned hotel burned down in 2009, no one died in the fire.
Report Check-InSpend a quiet night here with a beautiful sunset over the lagoon. Flat space for 2-3 cars, the water looks lovely to swim
Report Check-InGreat views, firm ground, it’s a family spot during the day but empty at night. You can hear a little traffic on the road but not see it.
Lake water was fine to filter and surprisingly warm to swim in!
Good phone signal.
If you are going super lightweight you could sleep in the ruins, or there is room for a big rig. Gravel is fine for all.

There was one kite surfer in the laguna, but no one else. Not sure about weekends 👍
