Description

City run park and campground. Hiking trails, playground, and beach access. $33 per night (including taxes) which we thought was a bit steep considering the sites are crowded with limited privacy. Most sites come with electric, water, and sewer. Could be worth the money if you are in need of a dump, water, and shower. Good cell service on ATT & verizon.

Not disappointed. But less than my expectations. With all the “camp-hosts” around you would think the bathrooms/laundry rooms etc would be at least semi clean. BUT, beautiful beach. $34/night including tax. Full hookup. Site #220, not private, not level.

Great camping location…

Used a Tacoma w/ truck bed camper!

$18.xx w/ military discount. Bike trails are awesome, and very convenient for beach access! 24/7 access to a double gated campground! Very friendly staff!

This place is the Walmart of campsites. It’s like KOA but not as expensive. The amenities are too few for the amount of people in the camp. Paid $20 for a tent site which comes with 110 electric outlet and water. Very little to no privacy at any sites. It’s really set up for RV life and not very tent life friendly. The folks running it are very nice and efficient in getting you signed up—they have to be. It’s a camping production mill!!! Lots of activities and bike trails. 10mn bike ride to the ocean!Taking a shower is an adventure with only one hook and not even a soap dish!! You learn to take minimal stuff with you! Three toilet and two urinals for the entire camp (for men). Be prepared to wait anytime you want to do business even #1... Laundry is $2.75. They say: No Alcohol!! What’s camping with no beer? Feels like high school !! Overall 2.5 stars out if 6.

Paid: $30 a night. This park reminded me of camping in the jungles of Guatemala. The vegetation is immense and our site was in shade dark enough to to merit daytime use of interior lights at time. Narrow rustic roadways give access to campsites but no problem with any size rig. Spaces are not as you see on the campground map! The layout is not that orderly. Great camp for kids as well. Check out the alligator heads for sale in the camp store. Rent a bike for an hour and ride the beach side access road or the beach itself. Lots of owls and watch for the gators! One of the more interesting and enjoyable parks we have stayed at.
