Description

March 2022: check for current shower pricing, ask first about overnight parking in enclosed ranch area.

The restaurant Mauricio’s is next door to the Cactus Hotel. We went in for some food and it turns out they have hot showers for 25per person and flush toilets! There is kind of a little ranch beside the restaurant, they let us park for the night for free. We did go back for more food later to be polite. Great spot to spend a night!

Stopped in to ask if I could stay in my van for the night. They were very accommodating and put me in a fenced and gated area behind the restaurant. No charge for camping, but I did have a very nice meal in the restaurant to thank them for their hospitality.

We stopped here cause we need a shelter for the rain, food is amazing and reasonable price

Simple overnight spot with plenty of space to park. Several truckers parked here throughout the night. There is consistent highway noise through the night so heads up on that. The restaurant staff is incredibly kind and outgoing. They do not speak English so have your Spanish ready. No Tmobile or Verizon service but Starlink worked like a champ.

nice for the night! had dinner in the restaurant and asked if we could stay the night while paying the bill. she said yes and we stayed in the enclosed ranch area. we're in a 24' camper, no tow. wouldn't go much bigger. there's a large turnout on the north side of the restaurant, not certain if that would be a spot for bigger rigs. we bought a couple of entrées in the restaurant (130$ each). a bit pricey but not shabby for peace of mind. donkeys braying and dogs barking at odd hours, otherwise quiet for being off the highway.

It's just a pipe coming into the wall from a holder. not hot. I put shampoo in my hair and it stopped. I had to go out in my towel to tell the guy. Here I am standing in my towel while he come in and out trying to figure it out. I would say skip this shower...Also, it was 50p not 25p.

The highlight from our trip to Baja. Super friendly people, they let us stay in their patio where they have a little playground for the kids, hot showers and amazing food at the restaurant. Bring some cash in appreciation of their hospitality

This place was one of the highlights of our trip to Baja, specially coming back disappointed from laguna ojo de liebre after missing on the whales. You can have amazing food at the restaurant, hot showers, a playground for the kids and wake up to rosters. Just bring some cash to thank them for their hospitality.

stopped here for dinner, restaurant has wifi.
then qe parked for the night alongside the fence by the large open space next to the convinience store.
which was too far for the restaurants wifi.
persons living in the house attached to the store and fenced in area even gave me their wifi password and tried selling us some mussels. i wish i had some cash on me id have given him 50 pesos or something for letting me use the wifi.
next time ill be sure to bring a few pesos with me.
