$26.25 CAD/site, clean restrooms. Hike up Mt. Wilcox, the view is amazing and the trail starts right outside of the campground.

Near base of Wilcox trail hiking trail. 46 campsites, not very private but lots of trees. Site 36 has best view and privacy imo. Firewood available onsite included in cost of campsite, $26.25/night. Tent, and small RV friendly. Dogs welcome on leash. Can hear/see traffic on the highway. Most sites you are peering up/down into someone else’s site. Must have valid park pass.
Report Check-Instayed here two nights and there were lots of free sites in the beginning of August. nice and quiet campsite with potable water and dump station.
the only thing is the cold during the night.
Nice campground, 26$ firewood included. Easy enough for smaller rvs, truck campers, and vans
Report Check-In$16.75 CAD as of now as they are not currently getting wood delivery, and hence do not charge the fire permit fee. This could change.
Nice spot, privacy varies by site, but basically stacked roads up the hillside allow for you to look over, rather than into, your downhill neighbor's site.
Full Saturday and Sunday night on holiday weekend.
$26 incl fire permit and wood. No option for camping without fire. Clean toilets, plenty of spots left. Sani dump and drinking water.
Very nice hike from the campground.
Nice, good views, clean pit toilets. Still enough space in July on weekday. Close to icefield center and next to Wilcox pass trail. $26 incl. wood/firepit.
Sites not very big.
$26/night with firewood included.
they have payment slips for you credit card info.
did not fill on a Tuesday night in late June.
pit toilets were clean.
nice, basic campground
Really nice campground. The cleanest pit toilets I’ve ever seen. Trash and drinking water several places throughout. Almost no cell service. There was a little near the entrance. Recommend!
Report Check-InThe previous User said it all! On a Friday and Saturday of the long Labour Day weekend, this campground was only half full. The Wilcox trail is not really difficult (as described) ; it is well marked and you can take your time going uphill. It is beautiful. Caution: most sites are quite short - perfect for tenters - but there are some sites that big rigs can use. Look around. There is drinking water and a sani-dump station. At an elevation of +2000 meters, it can get quite cold at night.
Report Check-InIt now costs $24.85 per night, self serve registration. Nice for 1 or multiple nights. Outhouses, garbage, and potable water.
Report Check-InPrimitive Campground in Jasper National Park ($15,70) wit pit toilets and picnic tables. A bit away from Icefields Parkway - no traffic noise. Close to Columbia Icefield and the great Wilcox Ridge Trail.
Report Check-InRangers patrol around 7:30 pm. It was really quiet, but hard to predict if it's going to be full or not. On a thursday there were many spaces left. Wednesday it was full at 5 pm.
Report Check-InNice campground. A few sites have views. Nice location near Wilcox trailhead and a short drive to Icefiekd Center or Parker trailhead. Quiet. Mosquitos but not as bad as some others. No wifi, but 4 bars at Icefield Center.
Report Check-InNice and quiet campground. As all the place are with gravel be carfull (might go through the floor of your tent ;)
Report Check-InSelf registration, rangers controlled in the evening- park pass I assume. Nothing really special.
Report Check-InNice campground with about 46 spots. On a Friday in July we arrived around 4pm with many spots still availabe. By 9pm we noticed several people driving around not finding a location, seems to have filled by then.
Pit toilets, a single water spiget for the whole campground. No cell service.
Report Check-Innice campground near the icefield and athabasca glacier. no frills, pit toilets, picnic tables and fire rings. $15.70 per night. can fit smaller rv's up to 25'.
Report Check-InGreat place with views on the glaciers if you get a good spot. Arrive early in the evening, pick your tent, self-register and continue your day.
Report Check-InGood campground. First come, first serve. Pretty busy in high season, so check in early. Definitely nicer than the Icefield RV Campground. Hardly any views on the glacier though. It's 2000m high so it gets pretty cold, even in summer. Still 15,70$.
Report Check-In$15.70/site, clean restrooms. Hike up to the Mt. Wilcox, the view is amazing and the trail starts right outside of the campground.
