Latest Check-Ins

I was at this place and everything is the same.

Report Check-In

Great open landscape. Very few rigs this year. Quiet. Safe. Good Verizon. Free. Clean and no trash.

Report Check-In

Awesome place. Huge. Lots of privacy. 4G Tmobile signal so very slow web pages but good texting. 25 miles to Lukesville and the border.

Report Check-In

so many places to choose from, some folks here including big rigs but not crowded. not seeing or hearing atvs but I don't know if folks ride here. road in was easy, lots of windy off shoots. good Verizon service where I'm at.

Report Check-In

Spent 2 nights there while visiting Organ Pipe Cactus National Monument. Lot of room for every body and for any rig size.

Report Check-In

Drove out into the desert many campers well spread out lots of room here. There are many paths some deeply rutted but there is a kind of a main road in good shape. Just back up and pick another path if you see something you don't want to drive through.

Report Check-In

whole BLM appears to be a flood plane. It is unclear where roads are to drive in daylight. Gets more water than most AZ BLM evidence: few cacti, lots of shrubs, even some decent sized trees. Lots of birds because they prefer plants they can perch on. I was even buzzed by a hummingbird. Quiet. Four bars on phone.

Report Check-In

Quite! A lot of space and spots for any size of rigs.

Report Check-In

an awesome place to camp for awhile, we stayed for over a week and it was so peaceful. we pulled our 21 ft trailer farther then anyone else and had desert views all around. closest camper was half mile away. quiet except foe the air force, not sure their training schedule but sometimes they get loud. good spot to ditch the camper and drive to organ pipe to explore.

Report Check-In

TONS of parking here. There had to be 15 rigs all spread out when we arrived on a Friday evening. That being said no one is on top of each other. It was all very spread out.

We struggled to find the entrance so to ensure that doesn’t happen o anyone else:
Once you turn off the main road you’ll drive across a rest stop like area with big piles of gravel. Directly in front of you there is a fence. Follow the fence all the way to the right and you’ll find a cattle guard to cross over and onto the BLM land.

No 4x4 necessary. No high clearance necessary. We drive a 25’ school bus and managed with ease.

The stars here are AMAZING.

Report Check-In

Great nights stay, Verizon and ATT LTE 2 bars

Report Check-In

Very nice big big big clean area. We stayed in the middle the 2 marked places hier. Maybe 5 other campers here. Many privat place. Same places with a little bit shadow but the most without.

Report Check-In

Great location; so close to Organ Pipe, with gas, groceries and facilities minutes away in Why and Ajo. We easily pulled our 21’ travel trailer into the perfect spot away from the highway noise. We felt very safe with several other units in the area.

Report Check-In

Plenty of room for dispersed camping in the desert. Big area. plenty of room to spread out. 14 day limit of course. Close to Organ Pipe Cactus and Ajo. Also close to Mexico border, but it seems well patrolled and the area seems safe. Plenty of fellow neighbors and everyone seems to respect the place. Right off highway, so it's handy to get to. Traffic is very minimal especially at night. That highway is not heavily utilized.

Report Check-In

Camped here because nearby Alamo Creek campground in organ pipe was full. A lot of RVs but there’s a lot of space so it’s still quiet. I had no problem getting back here in my 2 WD Prius, and found a good spot for my tent. I’d come back!

Report Check-In

Lots of places to camp with and without shade. The further you go out the less people and the rougher the road. We were in a tent with no issues. Bring firewood. Full Verzion LTE signal.

Report Check-In

Great BLM spot close to Oregon pipe, there are a lot of different spots that can fit both RVs and campers. There were fire pits and each camp spot is surrounded by bushes so there is a bit of privacy. It’s definitely a good place to camp if you are going to Oregon pipe. We sat on the edge or a riverbed to have dinner.
