Report Check-In

Everything is good as described. A few small notes. Also suitable for big trucks. If the water in the shower is not hot, talk to the owner and he will turn it on. The water while we were there was not potable.

Report Check-In

we loved this camping. The owner, Marcela, is an amazing sweet woman. She offers an "emergency" basic and simple room to cyclists like us who their tent is broken. 10pesos per person. We could also use the kitchen. everything is super clean! and quiet!

Report Check-In

Report Check-In

We stayed there with our rooftent, found a space with very good Wind protection, hot shower, good wifi 5000 pp

Report Check-In

pretty nice. friendly. lots of showers and toilets. clean. large indoor space to cook and sit

Report Check-In

Regarding dogs: they are generally allowed, maybe not really large breeds, our 20kg one was fine.
Regarding the story a few comments below, upon arriving the owner of the campground told us how some dog a little while ago went into tents of other visitors and also killed a chicken. That's why he is a little conscious at the moment.

Report Check-In

Awesome little camp spot! The owners were very nice and friendly. We stayed one night in our camper van and had a great time. They have many clean bathrooms and hot showers and a community kitchen to use. The kitchen has many tables and chairs and a sink to wash dishes but unfortunately they didn’t have a stove or oven. They have a large grass area for tents and activities and they have about 3 to 4 spots to park for vans. They also have laundry which you can hand wash your clothes yourself or pay $3000 Chile per kilo and they will wash dry and fold your clothes. We were charged $5000 Chile per person for 1 night.

Report Check-In

The place to be for cyclists. As mentioned price for cyclists is 4000pppn and kids go free. Facilities as described, a large refugio with sink and sockets. Two areas for pitching but more than 5-6 tents will be a squeeze.

Report Check-In

NOT a pet friendly or in general friendly place. They had no water all day. Plus they asked us to leave in the middle of the day because our dogs were not on leash! Which campsite has dogs on leash? And they threatened us to leave and when we were leaving wanted half the day’s cost for leaving 4 hours after checkout time. Rudest campground ever!

Report Check-In

Price is 5000pesos p/p p/n, electricity for campers has a surcharge of 2500 pesos. They have a refugio which is nice, but its unheated so in our case it was quite cold. the heated room is only for hotel guests and you're asked to not use it. They don't have a possibility to dump grey/black water and I wouldn't say it's suitable for big rigs. our rig is 6x2.5x3 and we'd only fit in a couple of spaces. WiFi is very fast though and Jorge is a nice guy, very helpful!

Report Check-In

nice and clean, special price for the cyclists

Report Check-In

Had 2 nights here. Nice little campsite with grassy tent spots, popular with cyclists - can imagine could get quite busy in summer. However the price is good and the showers are hot if you get in them early enough with no one next door. Good wifi and spacious refugio. Not much room for anything more than car campers (5000 each) . Friendly cats! And the canoe trip was excellent (35,000 for residents) - the caves are stunning!

Report Check-In

We spend one night here, shower was hot and the Refugio okay (no hot water for dishes though). Good wifi as well. 5000 clp per person.

We highly recommend the kayak tour with Jorge. It was beautiful, safe and fun. 35’000 clp per person (cheapest option we found).

Report Check-In

great place for the night, 5000pp including camper, great hot showers and toilets, kitchen wasn't available for use. Did the kayak tour as advertised inside with Jorge, highly recommend was so good!!

Report Check-In

5000 pp/pn, hot showers and common room in which you can cook, but on your own burner. We took the kayak tour (discount if you stay for the night - 35 000 pp) and we do recommend it!! Jorge was a great guide and we enjoyed every second of it.

Report Check-In

good place, friendly, shower and wc clean. 5000 pp.
laundry 3000 p/kg, also does tours and kayak

Report Check-In

Nice campground with wifi, hot shower, toilet, water and a common area. 5000pp. The owners are really friendly.
If you book with them the kayak to the marble cave you get a discount so it’s 35000 instead of 45000 per person. We really enjoy it ! Jorge the guide was really friendly and let us enjoy the place as much as we wanted !

Don’t know what the previous reviewer means - this is great value at 5000pp including shower. Showers are hot (we showered in the evening with no problems but then we were the only guests!). Good wifi, really good common room for making / eating dinner, washing up etc. Welcoming host. Best place we have stayed yet (our 4th night on the road) and definitely the best value.

Report Check-In

poor services. toilets clogged. common room so minimal.
no really hot shower.
common rooms very expensive Tomy opinion, 20 000

Report Check-In

5000pp, a lot of showers and toilets (Clean in the morning), WiFi very fast, large common room to cook and chill (on your own gas burner). The owner is very nice. The showers aren't hot in the evening.

Report Check-In

5000 pp for cash. Large common room with good Wi-Fi. Clean showers/toilets. You can cook in the common room on your own burner. Sink in common room to do washing up. Flat area for mini van

Report Check-In

Cyclists here! Great camping spot, we loved it. This one offered a discount for cyclists, yay!

Discounted prices are for fellow cyclists are:
4,000 if you pay cash, or
5,000 if you pay by card.

WiFi is strong in the main building and showers are hot! There’s an area for washing clothes and lots of flat spots to pitch the tent. We loved the refugio, lots of tables and chairs and plugs to charge your stuff. Staff was extremely kind. We only stayed a night but this is definitely a great place for a longer rest.

Enjoy !

Report Check-In

Muy bueno lugar para cMpers. Buenos baños y agua caliente. Incluso electricidad por 3000 al día.

Report Check-In

Just to offset the previous comments. Stayed here, the water was hot the Wi-Fi was fast. Can’t say much about the laundry, South of here you’ll be doing it in a sink anyway.

It appears those heading south are going to be in for a shock if this is a poor campsite.

The refugio is plenty big enough, good vibes.

Abundance of fruit trees, pears and apples are probably a couple of weeks off. Cherries long gone

6000pppn for bikes

Report Check-In

Nice campgrounds at que back of the town. Enough bathrooms with showers and hot water fot everyone. Laundry service is you ask. Free wifi. Average size shelter for cooking and charging your devices.
$4000 pp for cyclists.

Report Check-In

Nice place, narrow and bit sandy. Safe for wind, hot Shower, refugio to cook and eat.

Report Check-In

Report Check-In

Nice place, better than Rio Chirifo, we spend the night before. Got a discount for the kayaktrip. At the waterfront they asked 50k pesos, here 35k for guests, 45 for non-guests. Had a perfect trip with a nice guide called Estaban.

Report Check-In

Report Check-In

Very good camping. 5000 PP. Fast wi-fi, a great kitchen, good showers/ touilet. Good spot for tents and small campers.

They offer a kayak to Capillas de Mármol for 35000 PP. Esteban is the best guide! A good person, help us ALL time. Included a transfer to Bahia Mansa and return to camping.

Report Check-In

Very good little campsite, 5000 pp, hot shower, fridge and space to cook. We used the laundry service and it is cheaper than in town (3000/kg instead of 3500/kg), no worries with our laundry, it was very clean and tidy. We also recommend the kayak excursion with Esteban who is a top guide!

Report Check-In

Really good spot to camp :
- 5000 pp/pn
- Fast wifi
- Hot shower
- Access to a shelter but you have to cook with your own stuff tho.

Expensive If you are looking for an hospedaje :
- 45000 for matrimonial
- 20 000pp for a 2 single beds.
Rooms at camping chirifo are less expensive (12 000 pp)

Report Check-In

Further note on: I can't recommend using BellaVistas laundry service. Aside from being the most expensive laundry we've paid for by far in 13 months of traveling from the US down the PanAm, our clothes were returned dumped carelessly in a plastic bag, some turned inside out, no socks paired, some partially folded, and only realised after we had left that I am missing two of my t-shirts. Super disappointed and wish we had not used them and paid $30 USD for worst service ever.

Report Check-In

We stayed here a couple nights. The wifi while in the refugio was the best we've had in a long time, but it did not reach the camper. Showers attached to main building are hot, but not consistent so you get a cold blast every now and then! The kitchen has a fridge and sinks but no gas or stoves for cooking. The staff were really friendly. We did laundry and it was insanely expensive at 3000/kg. We washed sheets and clothes and came to 30,000! May be standard for the area, but was a shock to us. We did like this place, and at 5000 pp per night it was good value for money. I'd just look to do laundry in a town that isn't so expensive!

Report Check-In

It’s an ok campsite, came here because of all the positive comments. We didn’t have warm water and it wasn’t really clean.
Didn’t check out the other campsites so no references in this region. Guess it’s ok for a night.

Report Check-In

This is probably the best campground in town, it’s pretty clean and has lots of bathrooms and hot showers. They have laundry service and a refugio with tables to chill and charge your electronics.
We took the kayak tour with Alex and it was awesome.
Just be aware that there aren’t many rules around the campground and sometimes the rent out to big school groups and they just take over, other than that this place is great.
Also it is cheaper for cyclists!!! Best deal all around

Report Check-In

Nice camping. Clean bathroom and really hot showers. Wifi and electricity available. Super nice owners. They offer a kajak-tour what was really great an personally. We really recommend this place.

Report Check-In

Cheap place 10 000pesos for dormitorio compartidos, good kitchen, only one bathroom with toilet inside, so you have to wait time to time. Wifi almost no existing, but we find fastwifi at a burgerplace next to 'la provencale' :'' ruedas y rios'': with very good brownie and beer.
The camping propose also a good price to make kayak (30 000pesos) comparing to price in the city. And george & marcello are nice and well explaining, we recommend them

Report Check-In

Nice place. Friendly staff and good vibe from other travelers. Hot water and good kitchen. Stayed here while waiting for the Marble Canyon tour. Plenty of secure parking. Stayed in a a basic single, shared with other traveler for 12k.

Report Check-In

nice place! hot shower and all the facilities. wifi is slow but all around is the same.

Report Check-In

Report Check-In

Amazing facilities, variety of options including camping, dorms, private. Two kitchen options, plus a refuge to hang out in with others. Clean, good hot showers.

Owner Marcela was super lovely.

Report Check-In

We went there to ask only for a shower, the guy asks us for 2500pp (more than twice the price we pay usualy) !

Report Check-In

Good and well located. Our Toyota roof tent in safe place with wind protection. Nice manager; good laundry service; wifi. Clean bathrooms, hoy shower.

Report Check-In

We tried to stay here but it was closed as (almost) all campings in town in this season.

Report Check-In

We stayed here 6 nights as we needed a rest and we were spending time with friends. I'm happy to say not once were we kept awake by people in the hostel partying until 5am like in many towns. It was relatively quiet at night, except for the owners dog who got tied up and barked a lot in the night. Lots of options of camping areas so you don't have to be pitched right next to someone else unless it's very busy. Showers for campers - 3 are hot 24/7 (although we found to be not so good on 1-2 days) and the other 4 are wood fired and work in the evening. The refugio is nice and big with a place to do washing up and put your camping stoves to cook (no kitchen available for camping guests, only hospedaje guests), and lots of power points. Still 5000pp per night. Friendly owners. Kayaking tours available through them to marble caves for 30000 pp. Other tours available in town. A very good option for the price compared to many other places we've stayed on this route.

Report Check-In

Nice hospedaje with campground. Very clean showers. Kind of cold water though. Nice closed area to cook (Need your cooking set and gas) and rest. There is a fridge we can use. WiFi works more or less. 5000 pesos/pp for camping. Nice and quiet area.

Report Check-In

Camping in various spots in the yard, basically anywhere you think you can hide from the wind!
Families nice, shower is amazing. The wifi is terrible. If it's working you can only send messages.
5,000/night.

Report Check-In

I want to like this place, mainly because the family is trying to make a go of it, and I tend to support small family run businesses.

Report Check-In

It is very nice place with enough toilets and showers. Owners are very nice. Kitchen doesn't have gas. Fridge is to small. Internet very slow. Kitchen is closed at 22:30, quite early. It will be OK if there will be not a party in garden for people from hostel.
We have heard that there 🏕️ next to it is very good, but a little bit more expensive.

Report Check-In

Nice campsite with great showers, clean, hot and consistent temperature! Big refugio too.

Report Check-In

Campground for up to 20 small tents and some small camper vans. There is a shared space for cooking, eating and relaxing.
Wifi is available but there was no internet provided.
Nice clean bathrooms. On a black board was written "no hotwater today". Is was not clear if this was only for the 2 days we have been here.
We paid 5000 pp pn, van included.

Report Check-In

Report Check-In

Great campsite, well worth the money. Hot showers, big common area. Kitchen area but without stove or cutlery, so you will need to bring all of your own equipment.

Report Check-In

It is a great place to arrive after a long journey biking. Cyclist have a discount, 4000pp. With the discount we payed for the wine :) always nice after a looooong day. Showers are really warm and clean. And the host is super friendly! She offered us some brioche she prepared :) and it was good. Internet works well. It isn’t the fastest, but I have seen worst here in Chile...

Report Check-In

Good place for the night if you want a warm shower. Parked up our van here and paid 5,000pp. Common area with cooking facilities, clean bathrooms with warm water. Lovely woman to assisted us!

Report Check-In

nice spot for camping, apparently for bikers the price is 4.000 (or special offer because we were the only guests). Owners are nice, the restrooms and showers seem to be clean and well maintained. Real kitchen (more than a sink) is only available for hostel guests not for campers.

Report Check-In

Same as described before. really friendly. 4000 CHP for cyclist ;)

Report Check-In

nice place, slow wifi lots of bathrooms and showers with a good tankless water heater. nice indoor area with a fire place. lots if potable water spigots around. friendly owners.

Report Check-In

Open, still friendly, the owner make fire at the commun room, and start the hot shower system.

Report Check-In

5000clp

Report Check-In

5000 pesos pp per night. known as the best camping in town. hot showers and WiFi, although it's quite slow.

Report Check-In

Nice place, very friendly, let us plug into power at left hand end of toilet block. Nice inside area with lots of tables, no means of cooking but everyone took their stoves inside and cooked at the table.

Report Check-In

Dry Place but simple. No warm water in the Kitchen

Report Check-In

I second bobbob’s post: ‘showers were unreliable warm’ (and by warm I mean “not freezing”). 10:30p curfew on the common area: but as I arrived around 9p they were willing to let me stay longer after they’d already cleaned for the night (asked in advance). Camping was ok, pitch wherever you want. I think a bed for the night would have been a better experience but they were sold out

Report Check-In

Nice Campground. We could park behind trees and were well protected from the wind. Wifi is slow. Restrooms are clean and well maintained. Hot showers! 5000 pesos pp.

Report Check-In

good camping, clean and organized. there is a laundry area, a living room with tables, a fridge and sinks, no oven. not cold water. room for many tents but little for motorhomes. our vw buses fitted fine, but bigger vehicles must stay in the parking area. 5000 pesos per person. WiFi is ok for light apps like WhatsApp.

Report Check-In

Boa opção para ficar. Limpo organizada. Sem dificuldades para grandes RVs. Wi-Fi muito ruim.

We were happy with this find in Rio Puerto Tranquillo. We spend the night here with our small wicked campervan on a nice patch of grass. There is a nice sheltered area where you can cook and wash your dishes. The showers and toilets were kept clean constantly.

Report Check-In

Nice place to stay, hot showers are fine and very clean. Friendly and helpfull owners. They could even help us with a welding job on our camper. 10.000 a night for two and camper. Seperate field for tents. If you’r lucky she offers Some home fried roscos.

Report Check-In

We camped here in a tent for three nights. 5.000 CLP pp. Very clean toilets and showers. The nice thing is the communal place inside where you can cook on your own stove. There is even a fridge. Female owner very friendly, her husband (?) was quite rude. WiFi works but don't expect a lot of it because it's very very slow.

Report Check-In

Confirming the same information everyone else has said.10,000 pesos for a dorm bed, 5,000 to camp. Slow wifi. Showers are unreliably warm.

Report Check-In

Nice campground with enough showers and toilets. Indoor part with wifi where you can cook on your own stove. 5000 pp

Best camping in the town!
Hot water (check before using the shower), clean bathroom, sloooow wifi and commun room (no kitchen for tent, only for hostel).
Tent 5000pp

Report Check-In

We found only one place with wind protection for our rooftop tent. Nice refuge, perfect when it's raining all day and all night long. Lots of people during high season so not hot shower all the time. 5000/pers

Report Check-In

Crowded with tents but nice atmosphere. Still 5000 p.P.

Report Check-In

Good location and quite camping during nights. For me a bit to crowded when we were there.
Kitchen to share. Hot showers. The friendly owners try to keep it clean but the guests weren't very helpful to keep it that way.
5000 pesos, I think a bit overpriced for what you get.
Wifi but verrrrrry slow. Hardly connected.
Small supermarket in the near and gas station.
