stayed here happily for a week, and others have been in and out around me for shorter and longer, but today we all got these on our windshields. so sad, this was such a great spot, but still plenty of stealth street parking nearby. the park is still open late and it's a beautiful spot to spend the day.

Another must stop. I recommend coming when the park opens at 8, staying here until close and then leaving. The park does have a sign that says something about parking overnight being illegal in fine print. The park is insane. The beach is open. Lots of dogs, dog park and downtown right down the street. Dogs are allowed in the park but aren’t allowed on the beach.

Edit: added a pic of a flyer we were given.

Parked here a couple of nights. Was a bit noisy until about 11pm when they close the gates. No one bothered me or asked me to leave but they do go around the lot at closing time and honk to remind people to leave. If you don't leave, they don't say anything - but you go get locked into the gate for the night. A few other vans here each night too.

Not a bad place to stay but there are definitely quieter streets in St Pete with free, in-metered parking.

Can't beat the sunrise here, dolphins swimming and an awesome park to walk your dog.

Report Check-In

Able to stay the night, however note that around 1030pm someone in a facility cart drove through the parking lot honking. This is your warning that the gate is going to be closed and locked. not sure what time it's unlocked in the morning.

Report Check-In

Confirmed with parking guard that it’s ok to park overnight here. Beautiful views to arise to. St. Pete is definitely alive by 8am, even on a Thursday morn. Probably about 3 cars when we arrived & awoke to several more.

Edit to add that a police officer told me on the second day that no overnights are allowed. 😔

Report Check-In

This parking lot is located between the North Shore Aquatic Complex, and the Gizella Kipsick Palm Arboretum, and is right by the bay. I pulled in around dusk, and did not see any signs regarding overnighting. Beautitiful view! Plenty of parking available. It's a little noisy in the evening, closer to the volleyball courts and beach, but it settled down overnight. I spent a peaceful night listening to the waves. The water access is restricted now. I'm not sure when or if it will be allowed in the future. I imagine this place could get busy on the weekends and in the summer.
