This a top spot for a self sufficient van (there no facilities here at all). There is so much space so even if there are other vans, you are not next to each other. The views are great, the large lake is lovely and on a clear night the stars are fabulous. There is a family of dogs that live here but they are friendly. The track down is worn and bumpy but we had no problem in our converted Vivaro - just went very slow. An all round top stop.

As described.
I camp here in the end of February and was a very good night, quite not cold at all.
Many campers and some making some noise by night but the place is huge around the lake. You can easily find the perfect one.
Totally suitable for all kind of vehicles.
Just be careful with the cobras 🐍 (no joke). I was barefoot having a bath of sun in the morning and later some good local friends told me and show me videos of big cobra snakes in this particular place.
Good wild camping spot.

We spend the night here and it was so quiet and not windy at all. Many possible spots and an amazing view!

Our 3rd stay here, very quiet just us, our friends and one other vehicle. Bit windy but were able to have a campfire. Spent a few hours chatting to Aziz from the nearby village who is very knowledgeable about the area and the history of the reservoir

Report Check-In

As others have described. Pretty but windy.

Our second visit here and we stayed 3 nights with just a couple of other vehicles and had most of the daytimes to ourselves. Very windy but hot for two days but beautifully calm the third day for sitting out admiring the lovely lake or mountain views.

Report Check-In

Pretty place and definitelly quiet. a bit windy but could get shelter parking next to one pf the abandoned buildings.
