If you really want to learn something about the production of tequila go here, lots of tasting and trying. We enjoyed our tour. You can still visit the old factory, super! We were allowed to sleep outside the gate on the streets for one night. Not the most silent road but after tequila tasting a good choice;-)

Really nice tour. We were the only ones. Tours every hour. We tried to get cheaper tickets in Tequila in their shop but they don't sell them anymore. Tickets at the distillery are 230/person for the standard tour. Absolutely worth it.

Very interesting tour. We could do it in english. We were charged 230 pesos per person (the office in Tequila in which you could have cheaper prices was closed for maintenance)

Casa Herradura distillery in Amatitan. If you buy tickets in their little store in Tequila, its 150 pesos but 200 pesos if you buy directly from the Hacienda. There is a big sign just before the cemetery on the main road coming from Tequila. Turn left. They have tours every hour until 4 in the afternoon. It lasts 1-1:30 hours including sampling. Thats the right coordinates!

Tequila tour at a smaller distillery but it's green and they gave us a tremendous tour. Highly recommended, if you're coming from tequila turn left just before the cemetery.
