Guarded and no free parking the weekend, but free and non guarded (but safe) from monday to friday. We paid 5000p for the sunday afternoon and it was ok to stay overnight. At 100m from the zocalo and perfect for visiting the village. We finally stay 2 nights. Quiet even if we hear a lot of frogs in the night ! In the morning, 3 horses spent some time near us and then go away, alone !
Why? By checking in after you’ve visited a place you let others know this place is still functional. You can also add or correct any information.
This was a perfect spot to spend the afternoon in Guatape admiring the town etc. We parked in the very furthest spot from the pedestrian ramp into town as we were there during Semana Santa and it was loud in town. So glad we weren’t staying in a hotel there. Our quiet spot in our van was perfect. We were even able to have enough privacy to have a swimsuit shower before bed.
we paid $18,000 COP for the night.
The gates to hike up the piñon open at 7 am! Get there early to avoid the crowds.
Grand Parking en gravier sablonneux, bien dormi au calme, d’autre voyageurs présent. 21000COP la première nuit en semaine et 18000COP la deuxième nuit du vendredi. En plein centre de Guatapé
Report Check-InThe parking lot is super close to town.
It was the last day of november and a lot of fireworks around(which we didnt know) - so we didnt had a quiet night.
Also the parking lot isn‘t guarded at night, but felt safe.
Report Check-In18.000 cop/24h Very safe and quiet night, claro and movistar good work here.
local seguro e tranquilo para passar a noite, bom sinal claro e movistar.
Report Check-InStayed here for four nights in our little camper. 18000 COP per night. Felt very safe, it’s a 24hr parking lot with guard. Lots of space. 2 min walk from the main square. Guatapé feels like a very secure, small town. Really enjoyed our stay! Would recommend.
Report Check-InBig parking lot, easy to reach, cheap and in my opinion best way to get to town.
Report Check-InVery quiet place to spend the night. it's not free during the week anymore, I added a pic with the prices. We paid 18k and could stay until 8pm the next day for that price. No amenities whatsoever though.
Report Check-InQuiet, safe place 18000Colombian, we managed to fill a gallon of water in the coffee maker next door. We slept for two nights
Lugar tranquilo, seguro 18000colombiano, conseguimos encher um galão de água na cafeteira ao lado. dormimos por duas noites
Report Check-InCame here as the „Bania Travels“ (other place on iOverlander) is not a campground but a private building with a very small parking space, which was occupied.
So we stayed here for two nights over a weekend. During the day the parking was pretty full, but there is always some space available. Quiet at night. Cost is either per hour or a lump sum per night of 18k. No toilets directly in the parking area, have to walk to the first buildings where they also offer baños.
Spent one night here. The reason to stay here is its proximity to town. It’s a short walk to everything, and the town is really charming to explore. There are a lot of muddy puddles to avoid and trash around. But again, it’s worth it for the location. No bathroom facilities. Closest bathroom I know of is 1,000 COP on the right side as you go to the main square. But it’s only open during business hours. We recommend burgers at El Bacchanal and Koi for ramen and other Asian cuisine. The cinnamon rolls at Zocarolls are famous.
Report Check-InReally easy parking close to town. Stayed one night, ate Indian food at ‘Donde Sam’s’, paid $21000 pesos for 24 hours. Would definitely recommend.
Report Check-InGood location at entrance to town. It’s a parking lot!!! Occasional vehicles entering at night but mostly just the sounds of frogs and other small critters.

We pay COP18000 for 24 hours.
Bathroom in the cafeteria next door super clean by COP1000.
we parked here and walked into to town for a late lunch and when we returned we were told that it's 18k per 12 hours and we would need to pay a total of 36 to stay the night. so we left.
Report Check-InFlat parking and quiet. We found water and electricity near the small white house (sanitary) is bowling entrance, a little in height. The price is 18000cop for the motorhome to spend the night. On the other hand, the morning guard have asked us to leave because he says it was forbidden to stay at night while the evening guard had allowed us to stay. So I think it must be discreet. Parking really well located at the entrance to the city
Report Check-InHuge gravel parking lot with gate. Our rig was a "bus" so we had to pay 18.000$ on a midweek day. Quit & lovely temperatures during the night.
Report Check-InWe stayed 3 nights here in à camper truck. Prince is now 18000 cop per night. Not the most wonderful place we have seen but it is very convenient , right in the city ans very quiet.
Report Check-InIt seems weekdays are no longer free. We were here on a tuesday (monday was holiday) and paid 15000 COP/night. Quiet.
Report Check-InBoth entries here mean the same parking lot. We have been here on a holiday, so big fiesta in the town but the night was surprisingly quite. Paid 15 k COP. Perfect for a visit of the cute and colorful village. Many restaurants near by and free WIFI at the plaza.
Report Check-InStayed here for 2 nights. Its totally safe and a 2 minute walk to town. Town is great and worth a stop for a couple days.
Report Check-InWe paid 6,000 to park overnight. No facilities and the parking lot attendant left around 7pm.
Report Check-InStill 15K per night. Guard wasn't around over-night, but it didn't concern us; it seems a safe enough place. Convenient for town and peaceful over-night. No facilities.
Report Check-InNo Guard during the Week.
Payed 10000 for a Truck per Night.
Stayed 2 Nights.
Nice, safe, uncovered (solar-friendly). No bathrooms including no trees. Claro 3G service.

Very big parking lot, with a lot of lights. Good for one night. 2 minutes walk to the beautiful towncenter of Guatape
